FYI, a JDAM (clip 1) is a gravity weapon. There is no rocket motor.
Came here to say this. He called it a rocket or missile multiple times. Cringey AF.
not the same ship either but this channel is getting better slowly.
it's a missile of sorts, because it has limited steering
@@lanorothwolf2184 So, by your definition , a Tomahawk missile (which can fly 1500 miles and turn to fly over and around terrain objects) is not a missile because it has better than limited turning capability.
@@macadoom00 why are people arguing about this, its sort of like a missile but its just a guided bomb
1:30 It is not a missile nor a rocket, it is a bomb using gravity to fall at such high speeds.
“Sorry Josh, the VA finds your injury isn’t service connected”
Words I've heard many times. Despite the bullet wounds, and the scars, that are extremely obvious.
There is not a single piece of equipment classified properly in this video
Agreed. This guy is a freaking moron
His yap is always dead wrong but gots good footage unfortunate trade
It's a guided bomb, then it's a guided JDAM¿, so a guided guidance system, then it's a rocket, then it's a missile. God help us.
He did say parachute 2 times correctly……but everything else…ZEROs
Probably true, but I stopped watching around 0:43 when the narrator claimed that the USA is going to use 2000 pound guided bombs to sink "a vast array" of China's "extremely agile" vessels. Hopefully people realize the low quality of the content and unsubscribe.
I’m constantly amazed and saddened on the human ingenuity wasted on killing each other.
it's what we do best..so we practice..a lot
It’s what we’re good at.
@@jjc4577yeah😢
Still is ingenuity
Ain't that the truth
In the first part, you say they made Quicksink by strapping a guidance kit to a JDAM. JDAM is a guidance kit strapped to a dumb bomb. I doubt they strapped a guidance kit on top of another guidance kit. Quicksink is actually a modified JDAM package. Not an add-on. And in the video, you keep referring to it as a missile. It is not. It's a bomb.
I came to say the same thing. Saw this as I clicked comment. Dudes a dumb dumb. Calls it a bomb then a missile.
Dang it, you beat me to it.😐
He said several things that were way off, probably doesn’t entirely know what he’s talking about
Who cares it works!!!!
@@kollinking317 I care. Would trust information from a guy claiming to be a car mechanic and he doesn't know the difference between carburation and fuel injection?
The first ever parachute division was not "American in the mid 1940's during WW2"... It was German in 1938, Followed by Britain in 1940... these were joint large units... That's a few years before America ever sent a single soldier to fight in WW2. The first PURE parachute only regiment/division was 1941 British Army followed by German Wehrmacht in 1943 (of which were converted from the previous joint units) and later that year USA.
YES One HUNDRED PERSENT Thank You ;
Seems about right. I remember hearing stories of the paratroopers that landed on D-Day, or one of those battles. Some of them landed in trees and were taken out by the Germans while hanging there. Was sad. Paratrooping was always a dumb idea.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paratroopers%27_Day Russian be first. Again.
@@Yosetime "Paratrooping was always a dumb idea" - yep, that's why countries spent a ton of money developing airborne troops and equipment and the aircraft to deliver them. I mean, being able to insert a large formation of well armed, incredibly motivated troops into an enemies rear areas has no practical use whatsoever, does it?
Love the sarcasm. Thanks!😊😂😅❤🎉@@jackaubrey8614
I was onboard a USN ship and every time we launched missiles we had to replace the hand rails where the launcher was. Even though they were only there for a couple seconds they were hot enough to melt them.
Funny... Blast tape must be more expensive than replacing the missing parts. Blast tape is an American invention and have been used for decades...
@@abcdef-qk6jf The tape has nothing to do with missiles.
@@abcdef-qk6jf Snarky! Unnecessary response.
That's interesting...because I don't know of any missile in the Navy's arsenal that stays on the rail more than a split second. I can see them getting scorched, but not melted.
Us weapon system is the result of thieves and rubbery
Can you stick to only one measurement system please ? Like wtf , you mix Metric tons with feets and then you go back to 100m.... it's unbearable really
My dad was a air force pilot that dropped paratroopers out of a C130 during the gulf war... he had the same incident happen (a failed chute deployment resulting in paratrooper dangling from the line behind the plane) while he was piloting. Instead of pulling the guy back in though, the jump master simply cut the guys line. Apparently, that was NOT the proper procedure, although I do think the guy lived... at least my dad never specifically said that he had died, but now that I'm thinking about it, he never explicitly said that he lived either. He did say that he had to fill out quite a few incident reports though.
It is the proper towed jumper procedure if the jumper is conscious. If they are not conscious they try to pull him back in the aircraft. If they can't do that they foam the runway and land with the towed jumper. Just sayin.
Most people would say the Iraq War or Second Gulf War. The 173rd did make a "combat" jump in northern Iraq. However, during the Gulf War in the early 90's , there was no combat jump. The 82nd did participate. Their combat jumps were free falls out of deuce and a halfs.
The secondary thrusters correcting it's path is so cool
Battleships?? This guy really knows what he is talking about.
Don't most of these content makers. I can't even believe I watched this crap😂
Thank you for the update, Underworld..!! 1:29 That's an amazing video.
@9:23 u can hear the other tank dude burst out laughing 😂😂
He was lucky! The cable was pulled down and caught him across his back.
Love & respect from Srinagar Kashmir ❤️
Me: “AI make me a video” AI: “does it have to be accurate?” Me: “NOPE”
You Sir. You have a fantastic narrating voice :-) Great upload.
that second to last one had me rolling
At 4:05 it’s definitely not 50 megatons - that’s too much, that’s Tsar Bomba levels. There’re over a dozen separate warheads and the total yield is likely less than 10 megatons - “only” ~700 Hiroshima blasts
Love me some Underworld.
amazing..good job. I like the video. funny and entertaining
Full of errors, many of his videos. So I hope you know more than him if you're taking in the misinformation! If you enjoy the images then I guess it doesn't matter too much!? 🤷🏻♂️🙂
That bastion launch tho... looks damn kool.
i like how comments are proving your videos wrong, plus to many ads for false information
The Amphibious Assault Battalion firing Bangalore torpedoes are US Marines. A separate military brach under the Navy. Not the Army.
That mine clearing c4 rope is so incredibly cool to see in action
Great footage!
19:15 hats off to the cameraman being able to follow a thing thats flyine at multiple mach speed !!!
Jsyk, the very second clip with the non-deploying parachute guy is not a death. His chute deployed last minute and he lived.
At first, he probably thought that he might as well fallen off a skyscraper. I would hope that his Commanding Officers would have given him extra space, to let him regroup his faculties.
Everyone worried about correct missile and bomb terminology but the real question is how did they recover the GoPro footage?
5:28 “nobody is better at clearing mines than the US amphibious division” followed by a clip of four guys running across a field. This video is a disaster on many levels, but at least this fail is funny AF.
@17:30 It's not because of posture. He had good exit posture but things like getting hung up happens. There is explicitly pre-jump training that refreshes you on what to do in this exact scenario prior to every jump.
That tank was cookin'!!!!😮
The mine clearance charge is similar to Britain's viper and python. It's a clever piece of engineering that allows vehicles to travel a narrow stretch across minefields.
JDAM is a gravity bomb. It does not have a rocket and is not a missile. This package just guides the bomb to miss the ship and explode in the water underneath breaking the keel.
Very interesting 🎉Keeps me watching
12:08 - NOPE! It was long before the mid '40s. The Soviets had a paratroop unit in the very early 1930s. Their first airborne operation was an 82 man drop in 1933. In 1936, they did an exercise with over 1,000 men. Both those were in peacetime.
What an interesting and entertaining video ❤
"According to President Putin, ..." or in other words, "everything that follows this statement might be true, but probably isn't."
All politicians are lairs including your own.
Same could be said for every other “leader” around the world. If you’re biased you’ll probably disagree.
@@Jamss98 I don't agree with you. If you're a paid Russian troll, you'll disagree with me....
@@bukka6697 I’m not saying Putins hands are clean, I personally don’t care for him, but I’m not a hypocrite either. The US for example. Look how much blood they’ve spilled in the last few decades.
@@Jamss98 False equivalency. Obviously not all leaders are equally corrupt, dishonest or ruthless dictators.
The Quick Sink (JDAM) is not a rocket. It is a gravity bomb.
@9:26 dude definitely drives a mustang😂
War is scary 😱
I’d say the only water craft that could support the energy output for those railguns would have to be the Zumwalt destroyers, but with smaller more durable rails as the forces placed on the launcher mechanism can wear them out fast.

That Russian K300P is scarily fast 😮
That mine hose is cool. I've never heard of it.
The demo they did with the launcher coming out of the tank looked unreal. Like in a movie. But it all seems rather sketchy to me. Not much control over where that giant whacky string of dynamite goes. And what if you need a second one? Seems like a lot to detonate some mines. I think we have some better ways now. But it was cool to see it. Glad I'm not the one inside the tank that hauls it around.
It's called a Miclic mine clearing line charge.
I would like to see the mine clearing system in use against a trench system. I could imagine that it would be very useful
humanity is crazy!
The rail gun has been a huge fail, there is no longer any development on this weapon.
No it was paused
It was paused, then restarted, and paused again. There are some companies still doing some research on it. There are other countries who are supposedly deploying it in the near future. That's doubtful since the western countries are still working on the issues with the barrel wearing out too quickly. Like laser technology it will eventually be developed. Whether it's deployed is a different subject.
It'll be a thing one day
Reminds me of when Clinton took over and everyone kept saying “Star Wars” was over. Ha! The project was just moved underground, out of the public’s eye.
@@dshingle6 You are correct! I believe the tech that's used for intercepting hypersonic missiles was one of those projects. I can't remember if hypersonics were a possible future issue at that time. I do know that it was being developed to intercept ICBMs that were carrying MRVs. In any case, it's fortunate that they continued the development in secret. The videos of the prototype before it went dark were amazing.
11:30 my best guess is that Mi-8 suffered a vortex ring state
showing what the start of the end of the world would look like..... "Lets see it again in slow motion"
8:14 bro the poor trees 😭
For a science project at my school I actually tried building a railgun. In theory it should have worked, so we still aren't sure why it failed.
The timing of activating the coils given by static and dynamic friction of the shell and the surface is the essence!
Did you get a priest to bless it?
@@pitbullterrier4277 We built it railgun style (two straight metal 'rails') instead of a particle accelerator (coils). Our shell was a metal ball rolling between the rails. Using capacitors to create a current the ball should be pushed forward by Lorentz force. In that case, the shell doesn't need to be charged.
Big deal, the tank survived a collision with a street light.
Not a missile nor is it a rocket, it is a BOMB
9:22 credit to the trees, they bent but didn’t break 💪
And then Josh bought new underpants and a few lottery tickets.
I think the most incredible moments cant be shown in KZhead so those are the Safe For Work ones
4:08 nothing compared to the french theromunclear ICBB ( intercontinental ballistic baguette) 😂
Navajo Army Depot in Williams Arizona, Acres upon Acres of underground silos, I thought living out there was fairly safe I think that would be number one target
That polish tank that crashed if you notice they had issues with its right side tracks. Which ends up in the result of it spinning and crashing.
Lol the ship in the beginning has the the money team logo on it Floyd mayweathers company
Thats a very good video
the explosion is the sound of sound barrier
Can u find a video where they install landmines?
You can also make a composition that is about improving human life.
This entire comment section is filled with military munition experts apparently 🙄
Never jumped a chute like the ones theyre using at 16:50, look allot nicer than the ones that busted up my knees
Here's hoping the guy who packed Josh's chute packed a spare pair of boxers too!
Hats off to that bus driver.
i guess i never thought a tank could hydroplane
2:52 😳 Well holy shit!! They definitely got an A for looking badass. 😅
You don't cut away your chute on static line jumps.
6:24 "We've got reports of mines that way" - "Copy, removing that way"
9:18 that guy is lucky that cable didn’t rip his head off. Did you see that power line smack him in the back? Holy cow
I wouldn't mind seeing a tank drive down the road like that not the crashing part though. But only if they fix the roads were i live that cant be bothered like ah all the pot holes its like playing a dangerous very expensive game.
1:10 "...the guidance kit that steers the rocket, ..." What rocket?
Does anyone know if a tank crash like that would set off actual reactive armor?
Not sure about that but I know a lot of a.r.a blocks that were installed on russian tanks during the cold war up to even now were actually empty cases. It depends on the system installed and pressures involved to detonate, I guess more active systems require sensors like shtora before activation. If it's installed that is!
Imagine seeing around 10 APC driving up to your trance front-line, backed up with infantry & a few armored once & a long range pepper suppressing fire, either from long range afar or helicopter, something in combine... at the same time those 10 or so APC´s release those white ropes into your lines? :-s And then breach the front-line right afterwards? BR AN.
Thank God that speeding tank wasn’t a Ford Mustang. There would’ve been no survivors
10:01 if a tank looking like that after smashing into a tree imagine what a shell would do
Well, the U.S Army doesn’t have the AAVs, the U.S. Marines do. Obviously the commentator doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Exactly that's engineers at range. 600
$3 Billion: Amount Americans plan to spend on 4th of July beer and wine NOT just fireworks.
The Russian truck idk what to call that. Something I see from the game Red Alert
Quick-sink was it? You referred to it as a smart bomb, a rocket, and a missile, all three have very different methods to get to their targets.
17:30 Did he survive, how did they get him back in plane.
Should the reactivate armor gone off when it slammed into the streetlights ?
What a view for those paratroopers
That ship had TMT. Was that Mayweathers ship? Lol
Anti Mine fire hose thing looks more like a trench buster 🫠
And this is not a top secret weapon if you show your weakness and probably your opponents might be still study how to spot your foolishness
Paratroopers actually don’t cut the failed chute. Pull the reserve and pray, that’s it.
8:50 bro look the blue parts in left lol
Thankfully, that tree BEHIND the pole that tank knocked over didnt die, so the animals inside could live further

You are correct! It's more than likely a tail rotor failure. The way it rotates as it falls gives it away.
