Why Is NOBODY Buying These Taylormade Golf Clubs Anymore?

Preferred the days of old lofts when iron sets were 3-SW.

3 hybrid is so much easier to hit for most amateurs, also 2 hybrid if you are able to hit it. Also hybrids are great off the deck and out of semi rough, 3 iron is far more limited, agree if you can hit it, it has a penetrating flight. I carry a 3 hybrid for low flight, and 7 wood set down to 6 for higher softer landing flight, 3 iron has no place in my bag, and also none of my playing pals, all of us low single figures

Love my Cobra 3 Utility Iron. 140+ ballspeed and 210 carry. Very similar to my Callaway Apex 4 hybrid for ballspeed and carry.

I have a P770 3 iron 2020 version.. works excellent in Manchester!!

I actually see that in quite a few bags, but the clubs we use on the tree lined courses in the states are quite often different than what you use on the links courses in the UK. Great club, regardless, & another wonderful video!

I’ve got a 2020 p770 2 iron that’s 17 degrees of loft. It’s a tour special. For myself it will go 245 to 250 total distance. Has a nice piercing low to mid flight. Also in the Mitsubishi mmt 115 stiff shaft.

To each their own, but my 10+ year old 3 hybrid fills this slot. It’s way easier to hit, more versatile (in my bag), and so much easier and forgiving to play.

I have the P790 2 iron with a KBS C-Taper 130 X shaft and LOVE IT!!! I'm not a Hybrid user at all. Short par 4s and second shots on par 5s, it comes out of the bag all day long :-)

I had the 790 2 iron and I game a 21 790/770 set and thought it would look/play great. I ended up swapping it out for the ZX instead.

I have this in 2 iron. Gamed it for about a month before replacing it with a 5 wood. I do like the club though. Hit it well, but ultimately 5 wood exuded more confidence

James please please please sell me your 3 iron, or if you can get hold of a 2020 p770 3 iron. I have just bought the 2020 p770 iron set but I have been stuck with my tour preferred 2014 cb 3 iron as I couldn’t get the p770 3 iron 🎉. Love your videos mate

James you Yorkshire men and us Scots definitely share dna. In the summer you can lose a lot of golf balls it doesn’t matter it wrecks your card it’s the money that hurts 😢😢
