ive been skirting the edge of this game for a while but man that flatwoods monster might finally pull me in
Still crossing my fingers for a Second Edition. These models are great, and I'm all in on the Mothman cult- but they just need to trim some of the fat and clean up the clutter.
I believe that is essentially what fallout factions is, a cleaner version for the pvp part of the game
@@Daredhnu It scratches a different itch, for sure, but it Wasteland Warfare is still overstuffed with rules bloat, and evolving design, and tons of "stuff" all over the table that really grinds down the game in clerical maintenance and covers the table with HUD display type stuff that could really be streamlined to make for a more efficient play experience.
I feel this isn't happening with the rerelease of the 2 Player Starter
@@Daredhnufactions is a completely different game. It is full on competitive with no solo or co-op play. It is similar style of game to Necromunda.
You can get the Mr. Fuzzy mascot outfit from events or randomly find it at an amusement park. I've seen it being sold at camps in their vending machines. Brenda is a mascot employee of one of the weekly events at an amusement park north of the Mothman town.
Here are the cryptids that have already appeared in FO76: The Beast of Beckley (Big Albino Wolf), Blue Devil (werewolf), Flatwoods Monster, Grafton Monster (Big muscle...thing), Jersey Devil (lizard/demon thing), Mega Sloth (it is a big sloth), Mothman, Ogua (massive snapping turtle), Sheepsquatch (Bipedal sheepman), Snallygaster (a pseudo dragon... thing), Wendigo/Wendigo Colossus.
Well, you were right, unfortunately. I hope these plastic sculpts are better than the T45 ones. And yeah, we went from bad a$$ promos like Grognal and Lorenzo Cabot, to now it seems like a contest to find the most obscure, ineffectual character possible

I have to say that I am a bit disappointed in this promo myself. I was hoping for someone like maybe Gail (who would have worked with the Crater Raiders well) but doubt that Bethesda would let them add her since Ra-Ra is pretty much integral to her. Modiphius would have to use some kind of rules were she is just a representative for an effect (like some of those GW ammo grots) rather than having stats.
This wave looks to have a lot of great stuff! I'm most excited for the plastic supermutants and raiders and the new Zetan faction.
Love the sculpts and can’t wait. In the future for either the second half of this wave or wave 11, hoping they do a return to new Vegas minis

@@nobodystaco7366 they have so much to pull from too, not even touching the visited factions. Could do the fiends, a sub faction similar to the forged, powder gangers, dlc characters (Elijah, Ulysses, etc), gekkos, nightstalkers, cazadores.

Considering that one is on the cover, I would say that it and the Sheepsquatch are near certainties for the second part of the wave.

Bet they will be a hoot to play and will probably provoke an opponent into the infamous throttling attack! Thanks for providing us FWW maniacs with more to be crazy about.

I hate those designs for the floaters, but I like they're officially getting rules and I know where to find alternative sculpts. The ghouls are the best part and the mothman stuff looks pretty cool, too. Definitely going to try to get those ones. I kind of like the Zetans and it's fitting since there was a bonus alien figure in at least some of the starter kits. I'll have to see more before I decide if I'm interested or not.

Yes, very different plastics! The starter set is molded in PVC while the new kits are GW style (polystyrene, I think?)

I may not be a fan of 76’s gameplay, but I’d find it hard to critique the aesthetics and lore additions
I'm in a similar boat. Far from my fav entry, but it adds some pretty cool stuff to the Fallout world
As someone who mostly plays raiders and super mutants, is it worth buying the plastic sets?
I’m a little late to this, but I’m actually disappointed that they don’t have more guns from 76, all these models look more at home in 4 than 76, where is the .50 cal, pump action shotgun, Gatling gun and all the other cool weapons from 76, feels like a big missed opportunity imo, especially because the thing that 76 has over 4 is the better gun design and variety.
I'm hopeful that the new survivors and BoS core boxes coming later in this wave (not yet previewed) will have more of the 76 flavour stuff

Oh no... No Fiends(from FNV obviously) at all, only TWO regular Vault Dwellers and both toting guns to add to the misery, no Atom Cats, a very few civilians mostly in different kits too. The amount of regular NCR grunts is laughable, six. The selection of the miniatures that we get is poor to say the least. They all look great though, I´ll give em that. Good thing is, we don´t have to settle for Modiphus only post-apoc minis. Yes, I´m disappointed.
