Man I wish these existed back when I was a child. Probably wouldn't still be biting my nails and scratching my scalp as I do. Having fidget toys in your pocket is one thing, but a fidget toy that is also a pet I could have pretended was real and my friend would have been magical.

i thought i was the only one! i scratch my scalp too, so bad to the point where it bleeds and scabs over. it sucks, considering it feels like an addiction, and its basically my first instinct whenever i wake up. oils, essences, or things that will make me stop never work!! its really frustrating but im so glad someone else has the same issue.

If you like Jackie you'd definitely like nexjen too. She has a very descriptive box openings and she knows we have sensory issues as nuerotypical people. I also could barely handle school. I was in special ed self contained classroom with 8-10 students. It worked out well for me. Though I'd come home and crash cuz i was just emotionally exhausted. I did online school when I went to college and had difficulty getting tutoring as i had to do all the learning by reading and watching examples. I definitely understand not being able to go to school cuz of sensory overload.

I *really* like the cat, he's like an adorable kid version of a fidget cube with there being lots of different styles of fidgets on him! Kinda a missed opportunity to make the ears into a toggle with a neutral setting though, if all they do is rock back and forth.

The cat is my favorite, but I noticed that in almost all of them, apart from the turtle, they have details on the butt that look like buttons, the chameleon has one very close to the eye, I don't know if it's just a detail or those buttons like the cheeks of the fashion fidgets dolls

I'd love to see a bird Squirkie! I feel like you could do a lot (tail, beak, feetsies, wings) And if you did a bird like a cockatiel you could even have a crest or little cheek buttons
So cute! I love the cat one. I would totally go for the orange cat because that is the color of my kitty baby. I think the variations are maybe "gender related"- the ones with the eyelashes seem more "girly" looking to me. I do like that they offer a few different colors so that if you have multiple kids you can give each one a different one and they don't argue LOL
I agree. There are "thirty" to make buying multiple seem worth it. Especially by placing a rarity on some of the metallic and gold ones.

Actually when you were comparing the two color variations, I noticed that the more feminine or pastel or each of the pairs (eyelashes or lighter colors) was actually a little bit smaller than the other one. I don't know if that was a perspective thing or if they actually were, but it's a definite thing to note.
Those pads on a monkeys bottom are actually called their ischial callosities and they are made of highly thickened skin cells and they help the monkeys to sleep upright in the the trees!!

I would say that the variants would come in handy if you are a parent with two children so that they can have the same basic item, but with a way to tell one from the other. For example orange cat is for Luke and purple cat is for Carla.

Got some of these because of your review and I love them so much! Heads up, the segments that make up the snake are detachable so you can make any pattern or length you want!
These all look so fun! I'll consider getting them for my brother for Xmas :) The snake is so unsettling to me for some reason though- I hate that it has a human-like tongue xD it looks more like a worm than a snake. Also I think the blue and green chameleon had more rounded smooth spikes and the watermelon colored one had pointy spikes!
Worms don't have tongues though. The snake reminds me of Mayan drawings of them.

I feel like the alternate colors are more for the families that have two or more kids that like the same fidget items or just to make variety for people who put the color as an important option to have.
I may be bias, but I feel that the ginger cat fidget is obviously the best one! I’m going to have to find this somewhere to add to my collection!! (Also, love the snek… and the monkey butt!)
I was genuinely annoyed that the purple cat had stripes but not the ginger cat since all ginger cats are tabbies, lol. If I get one I might be tempted to paint stripes on it.

Yeah, genetically all ginger cats are tabbies. It’s not possible to have a non-tabby ginger. Some are what’s called a “ticked tabby” so you only really see the stripes on their forehead, legs, and tail, but all have the stripes. I find cat color genetics really interesting, so I have a lot of useless knowledge about it, lol.

15:04 *jackie forgetting that these are designed for kids and their smaller hands* also, the dog had to have holes on their feets, because of the air inside them probably wouldn't let the pop tube make a sound or expand at all, similar for the monkey, that is also why the tail didn't make the same sound for as the cat's. But the monkey could have had something doable with the leg anyway, it had the space for it as well as the other ones
The spikes and the chameleon may provide like a tactile stim or people who fidget or stem through pain It may provide a better stem for people who can be self-harmful through their stemming

I loved toys like this when I was a kid!! As a kid who was obsessed with animals and had undiagnosed ADHD, I would’ve adored these. Just ordered the five pack to fulfil childhood dreams

This is the first time in a while I've actually wanted to buy one of the things you reviewed really badly, $5 is really affordable, these things are cute I wouldn't mind it as a desk decoration and the little chameleon tail is how I fidget with random things like pen caps that kinda bounce back in place and make a satisfying noise repeated noise which kinda calms me when my thoughts are racing
I have the turtle and use him as a clicker for my rats! He's nice and quiet when dog/cat clickers are too loud and scary. But he's also super cute and I LOVE turtles
I like how he's being very careful sliding them over but then she just pops the cat on the table
I have the chameleon along with a few others, and the chameleon is my all time favourite! I like to wrap the tail around my finger and rotate it around, and the design is very cute ☺️
