Serbs had no possible way to stop the bombing runs, at least not in significant amount and it would only get worse with time. And as we all saw, it didn't take US foot on the ground to forfeit.

Note that the Russians don't seem particularly concerned with protecting the road that is their supply line to Ocheretyne. That suggests the Ukrainian lack of artillery and drones in that area has become severe, and that supplies are flowing to the village relatively unimpeded. I suspect they are going to keep pushing west to exploit this - if they can reach the next defensive line before the majority of the Ukrainian defenders, that could be the breakthrough they are looking for.
I heard they started using some new fancy EW devices one every vehicle specifically in that area thus there were not much struggle capturing the village.
Ocheretyne was the main logistic hub of all Ukrainian forces in this area. AFU now can't counterattack by current forces in this area because they can't be normally supplied with ammo. In order to try to counterattack from the flanks, Ukraine will have to transfer troops from neighboring sectors of the front. But this will weaken the defenses of these sectors and things could get even worse.
Also Russia possess significant air superiority and/or fire control in those areas. This is bad , really bad for Ukraine.

War weary Ukrainian troops, entire brigades in fact are abandoning their positions and also refusing to fight on rotation. The Russians are not throwing away their troops, preferring incremental gains and using firepower to grind down their enemy. Zelensky, in another month will be unelected and in need of protection from coup plots. 6 months is a fair estimate.
Zelensky is only alive as long as he can bring in some more money.

This looks sort of like Summer of 1918 on Western Front. Lots of hard fighting but it was apparent the Germans weren't going to win.

@@Boombox69in None really, Germany simply hit it's breaking point with both state being incapable of supplying it's army of equipment to much Entente, enough food for soldiers to be well fed, all while morale hit rock bottom. Specific events though? Failure of large German 1918 did a lot, though ultimately worst for German Army was when Entente went to counter offensive and during Battle of Amiens Germans suffered biggest defeat during this way.

Hey I love your content, I don’t think this happened in past videos I watched but your audio in this video was choppy. It keeps cutting out last minute. I don’t know what is going on but it hasn’t happened in past videos. It might just be something with this video in particular but it might be worth checking out because I had a hard time understanding what was being said. Ukraine's troops have been there around city of Donetsk since 2014. They made formidable defensive line in all of those settlements located around Donetsk especially Avdiivka and Krasnohorivka. They also start strengthening their defensive lines in Kostyantynivka and Prokovsk.

Ukraine is the one what overhauled it's whole army thank to NATO help in preparing for war. Although they expected their own final offensive against Donbass militants instead of SMO.

Casualties that are published by ukros are often infaltion numbers and the control lines are geolocated by footage. How about we use the REAL ukrainian casualty number and have an accurate report of the ZSU status ?

I noticed that during 2023, Bakhmut, which is 40 km², was defended by about 80 thousand Ukrainians. This year Avdeevka, which is 30 km², was defended by only 7 thousand Ukrainians. This shows the significant shortage of men in the Ukrainian armed forces. If the Russians keep up the air strikes at this rate, by the end of the year there will be nothing left of the Ukrainian forces. They may already be unable to withstand a large-scale Russian offensive, especially if Russia open a new front from Kharkov or Sumy, because there are simply not enough men and the front line is too thin.
