It parallels with Singular Point’s writing. A physics major wrote it so yeah he’s pretty damn smart but it feels like he’s so far out with the explanations he couldn’t even explain basic fundamental plot points in the show very well, and this is coming from someone who likes singular point.

I adore the fact that Gamera literally uses the same losing strategy every time, leaving a spot for Godzilla to win wide open, and he still can’t manage it because he’s just overthinking it too much. *Reminds me of a certain series that could’ve been really fun and enjoyable had it not devoted over half of its runtime to explaining theoretical astrophysics instead of telling a decent story.*

I like how Godzilla Ultima literally is so smart to the point that he can't even solve simple things.
It parallels with Singular Point’s writing. A physics major wrote it so yeah he’s pretty damn smart but it feels like he’s so far out with the explanations he couldn’t even explain basic fundamental plot points in the show very well, and this is coming from someone who likes singular point.

I just realised why Gamera’s lines read like they do. The early ‘Guardian of the Universe’ dub was mostly done by Yorkshiremen, so naturally, Gamera’s picked up the dialect.

Glad to see Gamera was not the punching bag for the comedy. I feel he always gets the short end of the stick when people use him in tangent with Godzilla. I love all the little call backs though. Gamera's dancing, Godzilla Singular Points way overdone theoretical mumbo jumbo science talk, and Anguirus being as adorable as ever.

I adore the fact that Gamera literally uses the same losing strategy every time, leaving a spot for Godzilla to win wide open, and he still can’t manage it because he’s just overthinking it too much. *Reminds me of a certain series that could’ve been really fun and enjoyable had it not devoted over half of its runtime to explaining theoretical astrophysics instead of telling a decent story.*
Dude the other Netflix Godzilla series had an AMAZING backstory that was partially novelized but instead they went with some nonsense about plants and robots. Toho has no idea how to make a Godzilla movie anymore, no wonder Anno stopped working with them.
