In September 2023 I took a 6-day motorcycle trip run by RIDE WITH LOCALS - An Icelandic tour company. It was undoubtedly the most beautiful off-road riding I have ever done.
The Tour Company I used is called Ride With Locals. ridewithlocals.is/
The amount of work that went into this video is incredible. 6 days of riding, gopro, drone footage, b roll. Just shooting all that while riding is a lot of work, but editing hours and hours of footage into a masterpiece like this takes a dedication and skill that few people have. I don't think I've ever seen a more spectacularly created video of a ride. Really beautifully done. Bravo. 👍✌
Thanks for your note, but it is a labour of love. I enjoy the video production side of things, so it is something I savour when I get back … working in the edit.
You’ve given me a new bucket list item. I’ve grown up riding bikes and this looks like an amazing experience. As a 55 yr old though, I’m curious how many km (approx) would you do on a given day?
Magical 😎🍻
@@brentbatwhat was the name of the tour company that does these trips would like to go myself

I have seen National Geographic films that haven’t conveyed the beauty of Iceland this well. I haven’t watched another moto film that gave me a better sense of “being there” riding with a group of friends as this. This is a phenomenally well produced film. 👍🏻
Yeah takes a far bit to impress me lv done a bit of riding (only in Oz) but lm suitable impressed you shall now be known as moto geofantastic nice work so many rides so little time one life is just not enough cheers
@@jw8556I agree… As a Christian in Christ I look forward to eternal life with Him and all of His marvelous creation.
Fantastic Footage I'm not too far to go from England. Have you got a description to get in touch with the company
if u travel there u wont get the same experience, u wont have bgm, u wont have wings grow up ur azz to have a drone view, u wont get colour graded unnatural colours, u wont have a narrator its such a shame, people wont enjoy nature as it is, people need film like reality in everything edit : i still love the video though even though its a little dramatic for my taste
@@crescentmoon256 oh l no what you are talking about but l like the lunar landscape and the low numbers is what l like less touristy crap and less lip service makes for more rider stimulation
This is one of the most amazing motorcycle videos I've ever seen in my entire life.
let it be known that all this beauty and big adventure was done in a small 450cc dual sport bike with basically no ultra high tech stuff. You don't need 50k usd BMW 1250GS bikes to be an adventure, take the money you would use to buy that bike and spend it actually travelling and hiring tour guides and professionals to help you in your journey, thank you Brent Pearson for showing us that this is possible
Brent, I tip my hat to you. Being a local and a motorcycle rider for 40 years, a lover of the Icelandic nature and the area you rode (called "Syðri Fjallabaksleið" by us natives) I have to say you did a fantastic job in capturing our fragile, stark beautiful landscapes. I got goosebumps, that's how good this is!
Mate you have the most beautiful home I want to visit Iceland hopefully when I get a bit older. Very beautiful land and culture
I don't know why this showed up on my feed but now there's no going back. This video is now #1 on my bucket list. I would pay to watch this in a movie theatre. Spectacular shots, beautifully composed, wonderfully articulated. Can't fathom the number of hours of effort that went into making this... Thank you for sharing this, wishing you many more safe and memorable rides🙏🏻🙌
Hey, thanks for your note. You may have gathered this, but this is a labour of love for me. I love video production and adventure riding, so combining them is just a bonus to me.
@@brentbatsame for me I’m a photo/videographer from Trinidad and i don’t know why this came up on my feed but glad it did. It really made me fall in love with love with filmmaking all over again… love the camera work editing and story telling.
Hi Brent, i'm also a motorrider and was visiting last year iceland together with my wife and your own motorcycles. Thank you for sharing this beautiful footage!
The colour grading on this is incredible. I am really impressed with the tones and the life you brought to the footage. You did a great job on it!
This video is one of the best I have ever seen from a motorcycle ride, anywhere. I personally know how much work is behind a documentary like this and how difficult it is to be one of the guys and also filming and trying to maintain a story. The editing is superb and the music is so in line with the landscape and the action. Well done!
I have to second that! One of the best moto/docos Ive ever seen!
I don't know how to explain it, but the 'feeling' there must have been magical.
Your journey is a testament to the spirit of adventure! The way you traverse the landscapes on your motorbike is not only exhilarating but also incredibly inspiring. The sights you capture and the stories you share ignite a sense of wanderlust in all of us, compelling us to seek our own adventures. Thank you for taking us along on your incredible ride! from Thangraphy
Holy cow that was awesome better than a movie definitely a bucket list lol
You have accomplished what all youtoobers aspire to... combine great visuals with storytelling.
Wow Brent! What a video mate!? Absolutely spectacular, and while I firmly believe your opinions are legit, I think the Icelandic Travel board owe you a few cold ones, as you captured the beauty of their country better than any travel show could have. Bucket list worthy stuff, and really seemed like you were exploring a new planet! Fantastic work!
Day 4 was absolutely fantastic
Watte a voiceover! Watte Videography! Watte scenic world! Watte editing! Watte BGM!❤ Indeed impossibly Beautiful!
Brent, I have to say, this is the best motorcycle adventure I have ever seen, cinematic quality is amazing but what sets this apart is you didn't have any monetizing on it and the user experience was just incredible. Being a motorcycle/atv enthusiast or really an outdoor nut I found myself so immersed I actually got emotional on some parts of the video, really hit a nerve. I thank you for such a great video and allowing your viewers to also have an adventure, that can only be accomplished when you get full immersed.
Hi there, thanks for your note. While I do monetize my videos by playing ads at the start and end, I turn off mid-video commercials because I don't want to detract from the content. Glad you appreciate it.
I have never been saturated with beautiful scenery in one video. It was too much to watch, really makes you think of leaving current stuff and go out riding - so much out there to explore. What a lovely journey and edit of the same.
Thankyou for reminding me just how bloody gorgeous Iceland really is! It’s been 10 years since I was there and you’ve inspired me to get back. Great drone work by the way, and the rest of it of course.
This video actually inspired me to buy an adventure motorcycle. The videography is top notch. People underestimate how much work goes into making something like this. Incredible. Thank you for the inspiration!
KZhead videos can be hit or miss. This trip, this landscape, this footage is one of the most inspiring adventure videos I’ve seen. Honestly, thank you for sharing it!
One of the most beautiful adventure tour videos I've ever seen. Absolutely brilliant!!!
What a great vídeo, 👏 impossibly beautiful!!
this goes straight to my bucket list, one of the best travel videos out there, amazing work !!
Having recently visited Iceland and a moto rider, watching this I found myself so emotional over the beauty of this film. Iceland is impossibly beautiful. Well done mate. This trip is on the bucket list.
Iceland remains the most beautiful place I've ever been. Now I need to get back and see it again from two wheels, this looked AMAZING!
Brent thank you so much for sharing this video. Putting this on my list. Thanks again! beautiful rides.
Love your storytelling and video style, Brent! Absolutely gorgeous views! What an experience, definitely on my bucket list now 😍👏
As somebody who has been to Iceland 4 times (3 of which with a Paraglider flying in many of the mentioned locations), but never on a bike, now I want to return there and do this tour! Thanks Brent! 🛵
Another amazing, amazing film Brent!! The scenery is of course fantastic but the extra effort required to film and edit this is epic. Thanks so much for putting something like this together.
Nice work! This is exactly how I visualize Heaven. Only the trip doesnt end and everythings a two stroke.
Thank you for this great report of one of my bucket list destonations.
That is one of the most beautiful rides I have ever seen. Congratulations Brent on a true masterpiece of cinematography
Looks like an incredible experience. Iceland and NZ are at the top of my riding bucket list
Thanks for sharing , loved every second of it.
What an incredible journey. I have put this on my bucketlist.
Im just sitting here and smiling the hole video. Thank you so much
Wow! The dedication to cinematography, editing, and storytelling truly swept me into that journey. A masterpiece!
I love the way you are describing your experience. It almost felt like being there myself - Thanks
Brent, Once again you have set a new standard the amount of work you put into this video is outstanding. Having tripped around Iceland two years back I am in awe of the ride and places you rode thru…..well done cheers
Iceland looks amazing, very well documented! Great drone work as well 👍
Brent, another beauty Mate. Absolutely stunning terrain and, as usual, amazingly captured. What an awe inspiring mood you have produced with the production here.On the list for next year for sure. Thanks.
Stunning!
This is amazing, thanks.
Incredible video and riding Brent. The cinematography is some of the best I've seen.
Wow! What a trip. What beautiful cinematography. Really stunning, Brent!
Just epic. So much talent went into every element of this. Much appreciation for sharing it with us.
absolutely fantastic
I took my kids to Iceland before, but unfortunately they were too young to remember anything. This video made me really want to go back with them and maybe do this too. Breath taking. I appreciate the filming its so amazing. I can't wait for your June trip...
Fantastic footage and stunningly edited. Impossibly beautiful! Cheers, Stelios
A truly cinematic experience and you sire, did the perfect justice presenting Iceland in all its grandeur. Thankyou. Iceland is just goddamn impossibly beautiful.
Thank You for the tour. Now I can't wait to see it myself.
WOWOW what a great memory! The choice of music was perfect. I also enjoy riding and filming, and the landscapes you have captured really got me inspired! Pure bliss
Brent! I watched your video right before I planned to FaceTime my old racing buddy. So this is the power of your cinematic efforts... I am in Colorado talking to my buddy in Denmark about a guy from Australia who is riding in Iceland. That is the connection that your videos make brother! Fantastic!!!! I will be launching my own small channel later this winter and can only hope to story tell like you! Thanks for the hard work on these videos and know that they reach and inspire people all over the world!
I'm adding this to my bucket list. Thanks Brent for the wonderful video
Gorgeous! I'm almost in tears watching the scenery.
Wow. I thought I could make a half decent KZhead video until I watched this. It's an absolute masterpiece of filmmaking. I've never realised Iceland had such a beauty and magnificence. The drone footage, the onboard riding and the brilliant editing 👌 Well done, like really well done 👍👌
Oh my god, that was so incredible I am going to have to watch it all again. Have no idea the cost to get there from Oz and do this guided tour, but it would be worth it whatever it was. Brent your production did justice to this unbelievable landscape, and that would be the highest compliment I can give. Thank You.
You found the right words.. nothing more to say... simply: incredible! And, so many thanks! T7 rider Guenther, Austria
KZhead is a pile of dirt, and if you dig long enough, sometimes you find a gem like this. I had tears in my eyes during the entire video! Thank you for sharing sir.
What a great video! Brent, you truly are a master! Absolutely spectacular! Thank you.
My heart was in my throat the entire video. This could be the best motorcycle video on KZhead. I dream of when I get to do this ride. Till then I will watch your masterpiece.
Another masterclass in storytelling and videography Brent, really nice to watch, and the guys as Ride with Locals on Iceland are absolute legends. Iceland has been on my bucket list for longer than I can remember. Still a little bit pricy for my budget, but one day I will be up there riding. I'm not a huge fan of tours my self, but this looks really promising and probably priced the same as if I would ship my bike up and spend more time camping. Cheers from 🇳🇴
Yeah you are right.... Unless you were going to spend a huge amount of time touring a country, this is a great way of doing it. I've looked into shipping bikes overseas, and it's expensive and complicated, so you really have to invest in a major multi-month adventure for it to pay off.
Simply amazing, I wonder if the Dakar could take a small detour. Thanks Brent
Thank you! I had a really happy chance to live in Iceland for one year, and I remember this experience now, love to both country and it's people, quite often.
Wonderfully pictured, what an amazing ride. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Brent! I was lucky enough to visit Iceland and in my opinion it is one of the most captivating countries in the world. Thank you for the wonderful images you share, without a doubt, it must have been an unforgettable adventure. Cheers!!
I agree totally, it is captivating and visually stunning.... which is why I'm heading back there again. I only saw one part of it and want more.
Brent: your videos are such an inspiration! I watch a lot of Adv videos from various KZheadrs. Your video footage as well as narration are some of the best I have ever seen anywhere. After riding mostly track the last several years I credit your videos for inspiring me to do more off-road and planning a few BDRs. I’ve added Iceland to my bucket list. Cheers mate and thank you for doing what you do!!
I can guarantee you that if you ride a BDR you'll be hooked. So be warned :-)
@@brentbat agreed 🤘
Thank you for sharing your adventure!
I’m reallly happy to have seen this video the amount of effort that went in to making it can’t be understated. I don’t think I would have been able to be exposed to something so amazing. This video has opened my appetite for adventure
While I only did the four-day tour, my experience was similar; I love the Iceland dirt biking and found the views, as you put it, stunning. Also, i found myself loving the 350's too. So much beauty and even your great phonography cant put into words, rather emotion, how the landscape liberates ones soul. Great job!!
what was the cost of your 4 day trip?
It was about $3500 plus airfare.

Just EPIC. 👍👍👍Thank you .
Its like riding motobike in heaven, thank you for the amazing video and scenes.
Wow, that looks insanely cool. All views are so scenic and majestic. The overall vibe is insane. I hope I can experience this adventure as well. You encourage me to go to Iceland.🏍
can i join with you sir!
Wow Brent thank you for sharing this epic journey. Imagine being shown around Iceland by an actual Viking and a Shield Maiden!! Amazing footage and the bloke who filled you in on the Husky had impeccable timing!
I was there in mid-September, I was previously there when everything was white and about -20°c
Absolutely brilliant. Firmly stamped on my bucket list.
Congratulations to you Brent on a spectacular video! Whilst Iceland is in itself an amazing country with amazing scenery, the quality of your video was outstanding and you brought the beauty of Iceland to us viewers in a way I have never seen from the countless Motorcycle Adventure channels on KZhead! National Geographic and Discovery Channels should be knocking at your door for this Cinematic production! Well done and I look forward to watching more of your masterpieces!
"Impossibly beautiful" is about as close as the English language can get to describe the landscapes captured on your adventure. What a dream. I've pointed all of my motorcycle frriends to your video and will add this to my personal bucket list. Thank you!
Simply inspiring.
Damn, nature never ceases to surprise me, added this trip to my bucket list. Hopefully will do this once in my life, Thanks for sharing this beautiful journey.
This is the best moto video i,ve seen. This is pure art my friend. As an ex Motovlogger i always dreamed of creating something like this. Thank you so much for putting the unbelievable amount of time and effort for creating this masterpiece. this deserves international recognition!!
Thanks WannabeGump, It's a labour of love. I really enjoy the ride and the video production.
Awesome! Excellent work, Brent!!!
Amazing work!!! This is on my bucket list now!
What an amazing video buddy! Every year we travel to a different country and with this video you gave us our next destination 😍🙌🏼🙏🏼
"We had a lovely first days ride" Except for the guy who broke his leg lmao
Holy shit, the prices of these tours are absolutely ludicrous. 3.700€ for 3 days in huts? I'll BUY a dirtbike for that pice. Let's generously assume that tour takes 60 hours. Thats over 61€ per hour EVERY hour including the time you spend in a sleeping bag in a hut. Add the travel to and from iceland and the stay there.... just insane
It’s 6 days
@@markdejong5284yeah like did this guy watch the video
You guys are idiots, he's talking about the 3 days ride. The 6 day one is over 7k which also proves his point.
3.700 for the best week vacation? Sold
Amazing!
Wow! What an absolutely incredible video mate! And what an amazing experience. Total bucket list stuff right there! I know what you mean about riding in that volcanic soil, it is quite unlike anything else. I've ridden on a volcano in Bali which was incredible, but that scenery in Iceland is next level! Absolutely stunning! Awesome footage and an incredible edit as well!
WOW! Just WOW! Absolutely brilliant video! Thanks so much Brent :)
Amazing work! Thanks for showing us all this beauty..
Wow, what an epic ride! I've been going to Iceland for 30 years and have done several trips on GS1200. There is NOTHING like riding in Iceland. It IS the best and SO much fun. Glad you got to do it and sorry to hear about Steven. Just glad it wasn't worse. You took a great route.
Just discovered your channel. This video was incredible! Thank you for putting such beautiful imagery into videos.
Absolutely breathtaking! The visuals showcasing the sheer magnificence of the journey is amazing. Also, the amount of work that went into this video is incredible!
Incredible video! Now on my bucket list.
