Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion. Having watched well over 100 initial reactions to her, only one did NOT say she was "unique".

Oh, wow, I love Diana Ankudinova - her unique ly beautiful timbre was such a surprise the first time I heard it, which was in this song. She is only 16 years old here, at most, and blew the judges away; she and they judges were in tears at the end. The song is an Elvis song originally, and she has transposed it into a minor key, making it darker. Diana's more recent performances include a song from the Dune soundtrack, and a collection of different songs, some in English and some in Russian, in a studio. She truly shines. She has a harsh background, which makes her shine even more brightly, as she has overcome such unspeakable treatment at a very early age. I admire her and enjoy her voice tremendously. Diana ultimately won the competition. A tip. Because of a spat with YT and you haven't used a visual filter, your reaction is probably blocked in Russia and other parts of the Russosphere by the copyright holder WeitMedia, resulting in your reaction having far fewer views than it should have. A visual filter works will help avoid blocking. There are no such copyright issues for the many hundreds of performances by Diana not on Russian TV that there are videos of on YT, and scores of which are masterpieces.

Hi Jack, thanks for the tip. I tried using a filter but it made no difference and was still blocked in Russia. I would have had to wait a month for the claim to get sorted out. The video is not even monetized but I just wanted to get it out there soon.

It is known by Constantine, the devoted and admirable fan of Diana who runs the channel @Kwstas Vagias where many of her TV performances are posted. His email address is listed on the channel home page. If you email him to ask he will be more than happy to tell you the trick. (He has told many reactors of it.)

Hello. Very good reaction to this epic performance. Unfortunately, you selected the “wrong” video. Diana is a very versatile singer/performer/artist. I recommend continuing with “Rechenka” or “Wicked Game” or “Human” from “You are Super Show” from 2018 and 2019 respectively. Or take “The Crow” from “ShowMaskGoOn” 2021.
