ESC is for young players with potential who would otherwise fail for a work permit, gives them time to reach potential and then gain full permit
Spending £80m isn’t hard at all, that’s my weekly shop these days at Tesco
3 meal deals without a club card that’s about as much as u can get for that
2 bottles of heinz ketchup
Blue and white army!!!
@@rhysdavis1196 Woolfy at the back, Ladapo in attackkkk
@@Alex58399 town are gonna win the fucking/football leagueeeee
Fati was brought in on loan in large part because Enciso got injured at the start of the season and is out until January
IRL Mitoma is Brighton’s best player and the key to their success.
My very early reaction is that the transfer system has definitely improved, but the way the reputation affects who’s going to go to you is way too binary. The agent might as well tell you “he’s not interested in a transfer because your reputation is x and the devs have made it so that number is too small for my client and to be interested. It would be especially frustrating managing clubs like Brighton who are clearly a more attractive destination for players than other clubs with a similar rep. Like if the Ansu Fati deal hadn’t happened in real life, I doubt you’d be able to get it done in FM
In the game you can loan in quality to mid reputation clubs but they are unwilling to join on a transfer purpose.
This is spot on! Attractive club because of club playing style, manager etc, but in game rep ruins decent youngsters coming to the club, and it's a hard coded in game rep system where it truly determines transfers, realistic to some extent, but why would a 21 year old reject Brighton where he'd be playing every week, to join Chelsea (probably on a higher wage perhaps?) to just sit on the bench and play 3 games in the cups.
@@Captain_Eyeball IRL if the player believes he is good enough to warrant a starting position in a big club why would he opt for a smaller club
@@samuelquarshie896because he isn't actually getting first team football perhaps?
Make sure you play your ESC players 30% of available mins, and they should get a WP or another ESC next season. I believe you can have 5 ESC's
Danny Welbeck is one of those underrated heskey type strikers
Thats harsh. Welbeck has way more about him than heskey ever did.
@@RyanRostron I don’t disagree, I said he was a heskey type. Without the unfortunate injuries I think he would still be around the England set up
Sold Solly March to Saudi for £59m in the first week of transfer window. £160m war chest, no need to sign any attackers. Hardest part is finding the best talent for CM positions.
Florentino Luís is a decent replacement for Caicedo.
I did a brighton save last year and couldn't bring myself to sell him. Solid utility player who has been there forever. He played 30 games for me S1, 23 S2. Came off the bench for us in our Europa League final win
I can think of at least 5 players and they'd be willing to come to Brighton.
Eduardo Bove is one of my boys from my journeyman saves when I manage on the continent as well as Per Schurrs. Both very familiar names.
Play march as an inverted winger or inside forward to get the best out of him. Also give Baleba more minutes
Thanks for the extra vid on a rainy Friday! Keeping me going through work
I bought Valentin Barco for 8 M, and he is playing compatibly and comfortably like everywhere. So far with Brighton, 3 games winning streak
Good stuff Kev. The Ansu Fati loan does make sense IRL as Buonanotte is nowhere near first team quality yet, Joao Pedro normally plays down the middle behind the striker, Enciso is injured and March is having to fill in at LB atm, so Mitoma, Adingra & Fati are our only real wide options at the moment.
Lollujo "god we have so many number 10s, Fatis loan amkes no sense. " Also Lollujo: Signs Thiago Almada :D
ESC means they failed applying for a work permit and normally wouldn't get to play, but you now get 4 spots in the prem for those instead. If he gains a normal work permit, it frees the spot back up
Almost. Not everyone who can't get a work permit qualifies for ESC. The player has to be deemed to have a beneficial impact on British Sport. For example if Endrick didn't qualify for a work permit he'd likely be viewed in this way, but if a 4th division Macedonian player didn't qualify for a work permit its unlikely they'd be viewed as ESC.
@@MKYCmusic Ah, didn't know that, thanks!
Excited for this!
Indeed, I'm watching this at 11 AM (my time), but 8 days later 😅
just catching up on the BETA save, the match engine looks like a massive improvement! fantastic
Last year, I turned March into a LB, worked a treat!
Great video. I thought they would have put the saudi league on here also.
KZhead failed me - I didn't get a notification for either of the videos in this series so far! Glad I follow on twitter!
Will be interesting to see how the old way of approaching transfers will work this year
Loving the new series and fm Kev
Kev we would love to have you as a set piece coach. We’re comfortable the worst in the league in that department
Great vid as brighton fan you doing good job
Loving these videos, My issue I'm finding now is I'm watching them at work but just want to be at hme playing the game
Nice Kev, I was looking forward to see your new videos. I think your inverted full back on the right might still work with Estupinan in the left. The inverted full back would mean that you would have 3 deffenders in posession, your two midfildlers would mantain their position on the pitch and it would be Estupinan with his attacking role who adds up to the attack in the left with Fati cutting inside and the right winger opening the game. It should work nicely
Exactly, don’t think he quite understands the concept though typical online merchant that doesn’t actually understand football tactics
Solly March has had great start to the season. All 3 defo offer something to Brighton. Yourself and Omega Luke best two I like to see do football manager content.
The movement and ball movement looks so much better.
ESC is Elite Significant Contribution, and is basically a clever and better option for an up and coming young player, who technically wouldn't be able to play or join a club under the standard work permit rulings, but because they are seen as as future player with huge potential, they can be kept at the club but must play a certain amount of minutes to show they are seen as a good future player.
Keep up the good work
March is definitely English, he grew up in my hometown. I've watched Rugby with his grandad.
Kev: Brighton have loads of attacking midfielders, I don't understand the Fati loan Also Kev: Signs another attacking midfielder
Interesting how Bournemouth came back into the game. AI managers are supposed to be better and it looks like it from that. Thanks for the great content Kev as always. Looking forward to FM24 edition of NLTL.
2nd! Really looking forward to seeing FM24 in action
Not quite 11am but 11.30am
What a goal by Rashford!
Signed Schuurs in my Brighhton FM save and Berg
I’m also doing a brighton save, never found it so tough to spend 80 million 😭🤣
They're still skating around on ice
Arthur Vermeeren mate has to be on your radar
Is that *the* Patrick Berg from the network save? #Keverton PS. We need a network save this year if possible
Every time Kev says Dahoud, my brain says “Sandstorm”
Bazunu would be nice homegrown GK
Nagalo and diomande from fc nordsjaelland would be great signings for your Brighton team young and cheap
whats the over under on "goodness me's" this year?
has anyone seen kev and mike bassett in the same room....''ladies and gentleman, brighton will be playing 4 2 f******g 3(1)''
Can you not play the IFB even with a WB on the other side so when he bombs forward the full back will slot in and become a 3
How did u change Touchline tablet default set up?
Wheres the squad comparison section on player profile page
Would be very expensive without the coaching badges 😂😂😂😂
ESC = Elite Significant Contribution. Players that wouldn't normally qualify for a work permit but are viewed as having a beneficial influence on sport in the UK. Essentially its a fix for the broken Brexit work permit rules.
Baleba is supposed to be Caicedos long term replacement.
good job
Ensico I’m the Attack Mid role is unbelievable
In*
6:30 steele is what now?
That wasn't Veltmans fault. Rothwell was unmarked.
Awesome :)
How much inch is your pc screen?
IRL man utd 1 - Brighton 3 Kev man utd 1 - Brighton 2 Seems legit 👍
Man United is not good. Confirmed.
Why don't you assign roles and instructions to the player instead of switching Veltman on right back to full back all the time etc?
I did Brighton signed DDG on free transfer
Ignore the star rating man, it has no bearing if he can be good or not. Your picking players based on a star rating is not helping you, trust what they do in a game when you watch it.
I thought Kyle Walker Peters was at least 30
Does anyone here actually start there main game from beta ? I really want to cause im eager just to start my arsenal save but i dont want to put effort in if there bugs
That match engine looks quality. Just need to buy a decent laptop to run it lol. Any recommendations on something decently priced?
The best professor you can afford. Prioritise that.
Danny always scores against us 😢
didn't get a notification on this video
who is non league to legend start with this year
Manchester United and Chelsea at the bottom, FM24 is truly level up
Will Demo Version Release Soon?
I dont get why he doesnt like high potential young players? Only wants quality straight out the gate?
I have a great keeper choice in my opinion hi name is moises ramirez he is a Ecuadorian keeper
🎉🎉
AI tactics are a mess, based on the utd game. IFB and IWB? In a 4-3-3, mind you. Lol
With 2 IFs
love to see the Kyle Walker-Peters signing. I suggested him to brighton fans online and they laughed and said he "wasn't good enough". I think he''s class personally, would have taken him at my club (Newcastle)
Its not a beta - its early access!
It's early access to a beta version of the game.
Well done for beating Man U. 👍🏻😀
Tammy Abraham can be bought for £11-£12 million despite having a release clause of £69 million, bargain
thought he was injured for 10 months
Loll is this going to be your main save or you waiting till full release ?
It's his beta save. On full release it will change to Non-league to Legend
Loved your videos since about 2016, but the James Milner slander might be too much for me...
pa quetta 50m
I’ve hacked an old model switch to get this game for free
New Set Pieces is at times very good and other times total BS. So unreal with set pieces; Maguire cant score for Man Utd but scores constantly in FM24beta. Sold Maguire as Man Utd and am leading the league with Onana out for 3months. Coaching seem to matter alot more now.
I’m sure IRL Brighton do have an option to sign Ansu Fati on a perm?
Maybe United are not as ridiculously overrated rhis year?
I hope you sell Estupiñán soon cause you butcher his name every time 😂
For once he actually says it perfectly 😅 What you on about 😂😂
They over complicated FM that's why its a dying game
The player base is 5 times the size it was 5 years ago. “Dying game”.
