Hahahaha. Dude!! You really made a giant physical donut?! 😂 Hats off for the effort that went into this. I’m honoured to be a part of it. How many hours total? PS. Salt bae reference was 👌
The legendary guru is here 😂😂
wow i am second to reply
The blender god has arrived
I wish we could have seen you react to it🤣
We need a react video! It's awesome that you found this. Love what you do for the community!
This video goes beyond creativity, as it evokes emotions, nostalgia, and gratitude for the progress we have made. Well done!
It's been a long Journey..
haha man you write like chatgpt
Haha but I’m not. Actually chat GPT writes like me😎
@@realityxlight622 lol
Chatgpt is trained on his data.
Quality stuff. I feel like every Blender user is connected by the nostalgia of creating their first donut. Finishing the donut tutorial grants you the right of passage to the Blender world.
There are two kinds of Blender users: Those who understand how to use Blender Those who've never made a doughnut.
So that's why I've not made any progress...
@@Valcuda some ppl where here before the donut tutorial u know, my first was the ‘spaceship corridor’ from Andrew, by the time he brought his donut series out I had passed beyond those stages 😢
That donut helped me create the interiors for the game I wanted to make.
laughs on being a complete goofy goober and just messing around with blender until i know everything
Nah bro this is insane. This reminds me so much of the old internet : Fun, creative and heartwarming. Thank you for creating this and sharing it to the world. Words can't describe how much I long for contents like this.
I couldn't have said it better myself, this was so precious 🥹
Spot on!
this is DOPE! I think I speak for the whole community when I say that we need a breakdown.
It's Coming Ma man
This IS a breakdown! 😂
So we need a breakdown of this breakdown 🤣🤣
breakdownception 🤣

I was expecting a little meme video but WOW, not only did that make me laugh more than a simple meme could, it blew me away in terms of quality and effort! Great job, subscribed and looking forward to seeing more content from you :D
Definitely a wow moment
Sure. Trying to keep up..
Blender Guru has made himself a HUGE part of a blender artist's journey by creating one of the best tutorials i have ever seen. i cant think of anyone who int officially part of something yet be that big of an influence
To be fair His tutorial gave me enough of the basics to be able to make a bedroom, kitchen and school hallway. While I get flack for admitting to making the donut first, if not for that donut tutorial I'm sure a lot of people would have given up early on. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make a simple item first, because it gives you the feeling that you can try more. Either way, great video :) very funny
The concept of a doughnut caught on so well it was even used as a system of measure within reality in the hit movie "Knives Out". Tracy Chapman even had a character who ran a doughnut shop and gave philisophical viewpoints with doughnuts at the center.
this looks like such a huge project to have put this together.
Took me almost 2 months :)
@@realityxlight622 that's really a hard work!
As someone who’s just recently completed the donut tutorial, I can confirm that this is exactly what happens
same now i can make basic realistic wooden chair
@@EJAXD6954 can you please tell how does the snapping work
Really speaks to the collective experience of downloading blender and making exactly this donut! Really awesome take on it!!
We compose the Songs ourself So... It could be Donut Song lol
you are so close to 499 sus
Most relatable experience ever
This is one of those few cases in which a KZhead video becomes viral for being really really well made. Hope you get more recognition with this, dude!!
Delusional😂 KZhead is always blowing up videos that are high quality I just saw this new vid with 1.8 mil veiws about Korea with crazy production value and it was his first upload
IKR? The opening titles are top-notch, especially.
I havent seen a high quality upload actually do well since forever@@goatpepperherbaltea7895
right? this is so good
@@goatpepperherbaltea7895 yall ignoring the lazy bad stuff like skibidi toilet?
Great tribute to Blender Guru and the (big!) part of the Blender community that he helped take the first steps in a long, creative road. Kudos!
Wow... Blown away by this one! Beside the great idea, great comp, great cut, music, acting… everything! Very inspiring. Thank you.👏
So glad you Like it
Watching from India. And this told me that there is so much to go....
I still remember when I follow that tutorial and made a donut, man still got the Blender file save there, and now I've made more complex stuff after that, the nostalgia it brings me when I first enter 3D modeling, great work with this amazing video!
When i first started the tutorial blenderguru's first sentence killed me😂 it was so accurate. I finished it and now i created a robot, a robotic arm, humans, a jetpack suit and a car. And my brother noticed my designing ability so i just today shifted majors because of it. Blenderguru made the best blender teaching playlist ever.
As someone who just picked up Blender yesterday, this video is inspiring and motivating. Now I'm going to imagine these little guys working hard (and grumbling about it lol) helping me make my first donut! It's very endearing to know that (almost?) all Blender artists are connected by this one little fried dough treat lol. The joy of creating is wonderful.
I love how much you quickly made us feel for those green characters. Great use of visual storytelling and a bit of dialogue. It's awesome how you took a common shared experience and told your own unique story with it.
0:24 - Got to admit, that was epic. It should be the official Blender trailer.
It is an honor to be graced by your presence again.
What a Warm Soul :) Thanks man
The scene with perspective of the green guys from inside the monitor was just 🔥, that scene took my breath away
This is honestly so wholesome and awesome. Incredibly creative it does capture how it feels for everyone when they finally make the donut!
A gem of video and editing level at it's best danggg such nostalgia but u forgot the impatience of rendering it out and posting in social media while tagging blender guru is such step we all love
I love this. Because every user of Blender know who is a Blender Guru, and each of us had this great adventure with creating a Donut 😃. You had one job and you've nailed it!! 👍👍👍🍩🍩
i would have never expected those tutorials would be one day emotional and nostalgic for me.. man i still remember the guru making fun of torus. the guy is a legend among blender users :) god bless him. and thank you for your incredible art.
I love the Blender community's amazing skill and its incredible sense of humor. I was smiling throughout the whole video lol
I made the Doughnut about 3 years ago which was just the beginning of my blender journey and I never looked back. It has become an obsession of mine ever since. In fact everything on my youtube channel is blender content. Thanks blender Guru!
Concept and quality are insane 🔥💯
Thank You... Glad you like it
0:00 I was about to say, that's some really awesome filming. 0:03 But then I realized, it's an even more impressive 3D Rendering. Great job, the Environment looks so real, like a professional live action Camera shoot. Keep up the amazing work.
A masterpiece that'll go down in the history
this is the HIGHEST quality video I've seen in a while, so much work was put into this and it was obvious. Coming from a 60K SUBSCRIBERS CHANNEL? Probably less funding than those huge KZheadrs and you probably put more effort as well. I'm subscribing and well done
I love this so much when I watchd the donut tutorial 3 years ago I didn't think I'd be here watching this, honestly great work love it so much!
So Nice to hear that, Thanks man
This is a masterpiece! The title of the video is so irresistible too. Can't comprehend how much time it may have taken you to create this.... Well done!
School holidays and my teen Son has just spent 12 hours making his first Donut. He learnt so much and had a lot of fun, Awesome!
Cant believe i started blender in 2020 and now im still constantly learning, but what a journey!
This is one of the most enjoyable and most creative videos I’ve ever watched. Not just well done, superbly done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I can see this blowing up! Masterfully created. Kudos on the hard work!
to be honest, the visual of watching 3 people complete 1 task so simple really puts it all into a greater perspective!
I'm still following his tutorials and I LOVED this, you did so well!! Hoping to see more stuff like this!
Definitely we need more from these guys, creativity at its best, good luck ya'll, awesome work🤘🏼
I was not expecting such a cinematic video, really well done 👏
Absolutely brilliant. Well done.
Recently I found a job in my country Iran as an 3d artist to make interior and exterior environments but they insist that I use 3d max on projects so I had to relearn everything that I learned from dear Andrew Price again but in 3d max and let me tell you its frustrating. I m really missed using blender it was free and it was so much easier and actually better than 3d max. and tutorials nothing came near as Blender Guru tutorials. Andrew Price had such talent and expertise that even me with foreign language (Persian) and with my poor English could learn Blender easy and fast. So grateful for his tutorials cause they where awesome.
I absolutely loved this video it was so hilarious and entertaining, The creator really captured the essence of the original tutorial while adding their own humorous twist to it It's clear that the they put a lot of effort and creativity into this project, and it definitely paid off❤
I love this! It was absolutely hilarious and also very well made! Great effort
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bro, the amount of work you had to put in is crazy, love your work
Instructions unclear, I accidentally made Arcane season 2

It’s so much fun to watch! You did a great job! Thanks for making this amazing short!
Thank You... Glad you Like it
This was awesome. Also the animations at the beginning are extremely impressive! Hope this vid will blow up 🔥😍
Oh God, this is how I started. Thanks for the memory, really loved the video
THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE SEEN WHEN IT COMES TO THE DONUT
Honestly the Donut Tutorial is such an integral part of Blender itself that they should just put Blender Guru on their Homepage, or even the splash screen when you first download it.
Haha that's awesome!!
RYAN!!!
@@Amazon10101 Hello 👋 😀

Took me abit longer than a month..
This must have been so much work. This is such a fun little video, and definitely a motivator for me to actually make that donut lmaoo
I don't understand how you made me so nostalgic with this short film but this is to creative and fun, I love it !

Ah yes my first donut. So nostalgic. I remember when i first installed Blender i was super confused but i learned the basic mechanics and then eventually made a donut. Thanks, @blenderguru
Wow what a cool presentation 🤩!

that was really emotional, thanks a lot
Outstanding. Like each of my 5 children, This took me 9 Months to see for the first time.
I wish this reaches to the Guru himself.
That would be another level I think. Please like and share that will be a world for me

Wow...until april 2023 you are the best...the idea and the attention to detail...top...thanks.
Brilliant. I'm the only person I've ever met that would have a clue what it's about, but that makes it better.
dude this 2 min video has a lot of efforts. Great man!
Suddenly opened KZhead and the first thing I saw was this video. I'm really glad I watched this awesomeee video by accident. Loved your POV 👍🏼❤️
Convenient video to run up on! I was just trying to make this donut today, I'll be doing part 5 tomorrow.
Hahaha amazing video! I love that these guys still put their max effort in this donut! Very relatable😁
So clever, perfect video to see when I'm halfway through the tutorial series 😆
I'm living this right now.... Well done!
Ohhh man!!! You killed it. Totally enjoyed
I love how practically messy the donut is 😹 A great tribute to Andrew for his all hard work! 🙏🙏🔥🔥

This is so cute, wholesome and kinda motivational Thank you
You're so welcome!
I never try Donut tutorial before but now you made me want to try it.
Man the nostalgia broooooooo This video hit so hard, it got me emotional
Wow, amazing. I love how you are able to capture the green screen guys in ultra slow motion. You are a legend.
Hats off for your creativity and putting it at once
I'm crying😭😭. It all started with a donut. I bet @blenderguru lost count of the lives his pink donut has changed. Bless you man!!

Love it, seriously, when you think you cannot be surprised someone like you just shows up :)
This is really amazing! The flood of nostalgia… 6 years ago making a donut model on my parents 2010 Toshiba because some kid in my art class told me about blender XD.
