Everton look a lot fitter and better organised than they have done since the Moyes era. The players seem a lot happier also. It’s great to see players come in and play for the shirt. Davies at the end had hard lines, probably didn’t feel confident enough to try the shot in case he missed and unfortunate Mina was just offside. Keep it up lads, next is West Ham at Goodison, let’s give them a game.
Davies gets more than his fair share of abuse from our fans. He is a confidence player with real ability but all he gets is negativity. Try applauding him and see his confidence grow.

It's Mina's fault for being offside. Get behind the defender, or your guy with the ball. You learn this in Football 101! (In Mina's defense, he doesn't score these kind of goals. Ever. He'll score with his head once in a blue moon, but I think he got a little too excited to get Davies' attention).

Davies seems to have lost some confidence. He was doing well last season. The failure in the penalty shoot-out in the League Cup will not have helped. He hasn't had many minutes'playing time under Benitez, so I'll put it down as a coaching issue.

Everything Fred does and i mean EVERYTHING, puts his teammates in immense pressure, shaw has had to sprint a great distance to rectify FRED's error and at that speed it's very easy to get dribbled pass, which would never have happened but for Fred... With Fred on the pitch a single mistake anywhere on the pitch is very likely to result in a goal against united, i don't know how he does he just does, it's like a superpower, tell me on thing Fred is good at right now in football and i will show you a fish in jeans
