It's great fun, Annique, to see you work through this. And my compliments for how fast you went through this challenge. Really. Seriously. The piece to me is rather vulgar and makes me wonder, when is she going to play "music".
Not worth watching when you don’t make the sheer music available as you play. That’s the whole point of these challenges.
This was fun to watch! Pretty good after just one hour! Nice work :) -Andrew
And yes, you got the pronunciation of my name right the second time :)
haha i wish i could try to play as good as her
In my opinion it was already reallllyyyyyyyyyy good after ten minutes ahahah like wayy better than anything i could do
I really gotta learn how to read piano.
Hi sheet boss. How are you?
200 years from now, this is definitely going to be an exam piece
You know it😁
The impossible one
100%
Hooman may have 88 fingers at that time
200 years from now, mcdonalds happy meal toy is gonna be iphone 3
Please don‘t add that error sound anymore… I think seeing the red X is enough, and I would love to hear the actual mistake. I find it amazing how big the differences are between an obvious error and an error that I cannot detect without knowing the scores or the piece itself. And that sound is absolutely horrific 😅
yesss, i totally agree!!
idem I agree too
As a pianist as well, I agree with that.
Same
Someone surely do 69 comments
Just a suggestion: don't put the buzzing sound when you mess up. Just a cross would be enough. And, why not a seperate performance videos of these?
Agreed
YES! I was thinking the same thing
the buzzing sounds was funny tho aha
@@elydricgaming4228 a lot of people want to hear the mistake.
Even if she didnt mark errors i woudnt know also if she played it wrong..sound good to me even if there is an errors..
This was fun to watch! However I prefered it when there was no false note sound blended in, because without it makes hearing you play eaven more enjoyable
I agree
You've just entered a dark world by doing Rush E
How can you dislike this? I don't see anyone else actually playing it
@@nerd6414 when did I say I dislike this? Additionally... you seem to be completely unaware of the joke going around where people are challenging others to play Rush E and have people judge them on it or just enjoy it. Maybe!
who knows
She did with un sospiro
Wow! I didn’t expect you to do Rush E! I remember having some issues with the B minor modulation, it’s incredible to see how much clarity you have on those right away. This was a pleasant surprise haha, well done!
Hi fanchen :)
Why will this comment will be liked a lot ?
Hi fachen!!!

@@PianOG "Unfortunately, it fucking slaps"
@@PianOG Was it? I'd like to see you try. So come on, give us an awe inspiring perfomance.
The error sound was pretty annoying
In general repeated notes are at a certain tempo impossible to play on an upright since its mechanic doesn't allow these executions. In this regard uprights are pretty much inferior to grand pianos
Yes
I had no idea that was a thing... I guess that's why literally NO pianists perform on an upright in concert?
Not only that but it doesn't help. A grand has a much richer sound than an upright, it's not even comparable. You have much more control over the sound coming out of the piano with a grand than with an upright.
@@pretzelkch8322 yes it’s due to gravity and the way the hammers are placed. An upright will never repeat at the speed of a grand even if it’s a 50k Steinway upright

Big fan of the splitscreen, great addition. You must have had fun constantly changing the x axis values in editing 😂

Your piano is tuned wonderfully. And you play motivational.

I would like to thank you Annique because when I watch your videos I feel, well, they are funny, interesting and enthusiastic 🤩🎹
Love these challenges and that’s a fun challenge to take on Rush E! I’m so curious to try this format and think it’s such a great idea for students too!
Loved seeing @pardonmypiano doing The Minute Waltz too! You both were so focused that the timer was such a startle! Such quick fingers, both of you!
i love it when i come across a channel that i have never seen before and they tern out to be polish ❤❤❤❤
I think it’d be amazing if you did this challenge with some pieces that weren’t originally written for piano but have rather been transcribed at some point. I’d love to see it done with Weber’s overture to Oberon (not the Liszt version), as it is a very beautiful piece and perhaps challenging enough.
Hahaha never expected to see this on your channel ! Great video as always :)
There never has been and never will be a perfect human performance of a piece of music. As Beethoven once said: To play a wrong note is inconsequential, but to play without passion is inexcusable.
This was so funny! It definitely brightened my day. Keep doing these challenges! I like them. :)
I have 8 years of piano experience and I feel really REALLY really far away from your level😔. You're the best👏😉
XD i alr practice this for 3 days and i cant played it

That was exciting and so entertaining. I wonder what Chopin would think of that piece? You were wonderful.
Pretty sure he would think it's absolute crap
Love your videos and your cute personality, I litteraly discovered you a week ago and I can't get enough of your contents! ❤️ Can I suggest a video where you explain the " road to excellence", like how do you split your daily/weekly routine between techniques, playing to perform great and build good habits from an early stage, and your personal experiences from going through all the stages of the piano journey? You inspired me and being a beginner I really want to have your point of view and your best advices to improve through the journey. Danke ❤️
That was explitiving fun! I laughed EVERY time the timer went off and you jumped. I loved this. Thank you.
Wow. Absolutely incredible. I wish I started when I was younger. Ive bewn playing 2 years I'm currently on my grade 3 and I love it. This was inspiring. I try to practice 70 minutes a day 4 days a week. Your discipline to your craft is amazing ❤️ ps what is the model of your piano please?
Nice vid, as always. May I suggest the red X for the mistakes without the buzz sound? Even if you make a mistake the music still sounds good, but the loud buzzing a lot away from the experience of the video. Thank you.

AMAZING, the way you play piano is incredible.
Wow. Repeated notes on an upright. I’m impressed.
Ikr
Why is it more difficult to play repeated notes on an upright?
@@rosegranger2872 On a grand piano, the strings are hit with down gravity since it landscape it so it makes hitting notes easier. On an upright it is hit vertically 90° to the keys so it requires more to hit a note

I found this so interesting! For one of the next challenges, I would like to hear Flight of the Bumblebee---I think you would do great!
Flight of the Bumblebee is there already as a challenge :-)
It almost sounds like an American ragtime piano player married a Russian woman. It has potential, composition-wise.
For me it sounds a lot like traditional Finnish folk music. In the village I come from, there are accordion competitions for 6-11 year olds where they have to play songs like this that are equally challenging. In general, your worth as a human being is measured by your ability to play those trad. songs flawlessly on any instrument.
@@juunasjohn9401 Finland is much more than just Sibelius, and they've never gotten the credit they deserve for maintaining much of their folk traditions in music. Some would say, "Finland? Russia? What's the difference?" Okay, it's mainly Russians saying that.
I like this piece for the challenge you were actually able to complete the whole piece that well after an hour, probably another hour and its mistake free. Outstanding.
Annique i love your vibe and your piano skills
very niceeeee, I wish you didn`t put a sound for when you make a mistake, I think its ok to signal with the red X, but there is no need to put a sound to it~!
What do you do prior to the 1 minute? Do you read the sheet music first without playing? Imagine fingering problems and solutions? Did you form an idea of how the composition is structured and layered? And did you read up in the composer and piece to get an idea of its context that might drive your interpretation? It would be very enlightening if you could share that process (in case you go through that).
You are such a fine musician!

In my opinion u did really well, especially when u have the fingerings practiced in less than 2 hours...and yet Ur still playing masterpieces :D,btw, the first part isn't that fast, try to slow down alittle, might help, first 30 seconds?or so....
Pls do Rachmaninoff Prelude in G Minor (Op. 23 No 5)
I'm so inloved just by watching you try and try until you sounds perfect!
You are doing good! Keep the work doing
Hey! Wondering what technique you use to play the E with your right hand at the beginning of the piece? I would love to be able to repeat a note that fast. Thanks!
I’d write it as 143214321 and so on, meaning that you start with your thumb and then your fourth finger followed by your third finger and so on. It’s used to play repeated notes in a lot of classical pieces.
Woah, I didn't expect you to do this challenge with Rush E! Anyways I want to request Four Seasons by Vivaldi! Nice video btw
There are many things that I love about this video, for example the times it got scared when hearing the timer finish JJA well speaking honestly I love to see the progress that a Persso can have
amazing work ..... especially for someone who is learning the piece for the first time in an hour. Impressive!! Keep up the good work.
Please! Please! Please! Play "Une barque sur l'océan" Ravel!!!! Please, please, please! 🥺🥺🥺🥺
0:53 gave me a heart attack
You did so well keep up the good work 👍
Awesome job. keep it up.
for all of those who ask to remove buzz sound at the mistakes, I think it's actually quite understandable. I think these challenges are more meant for non musicians so mistake buzz give a stronger message and point out some mistakes many might not notice. Ofc as musician i'd love to see the whole thing without any interruptions but i think this works better as youtube video. As we know you can't have both a super technical and also successful youtube video anymore so I am totally ok with this. I think on her patreon you can check the whole vod out with no edit but I guess most wouldn't spend money to watch it so that kinda proves my point. Again many like me agree that buzz sound should be removed to enjoy more, but I just think it could also happen to just be part of this video that makes it better for youtube than let's say a documentary/documentation. It makes it a better entertainment for most i think. (p.s. i am not saying non musicians want the buzz in but if ur willing enough to comment then you're probably among the 0.2% of those who watched, or 3% of those who liked, that cared enough about such thing. Be mindful that many others didn't even bother)
Imo, just the x would be enough but again just my opinion
I see Rush E, I Rush.
Simply amazing
I just found your channel tonight I really love your playing it really encourages me to do a lot more playing, I play roughly an hour a day and practice actually more than an hour a day but at minimal an hour
