Thank you for sharing your tips and knowledge, wish I had that kind of insight and experience, I would love to increase the volume of vehicle flips. There needs to be a good margin as you've put in a lot of time and effort and who knows what condition mechanically the car was in only having it a week. There's a liability there that needs to be covered. Or does a person come clean with the potential buyer and say that they don't have the car long and that it's being sold "as seen?"

I'm not a natural but the more you put in, the more you get out & a bit of practice goes a long way. I saved on paint by asking everyone that I knew if they had bits left over, I wasn't bothered about the color it was the experience I needed & it turned out not bad, I don't know why I was so nervous about it. Excellent stuff.

  • First thing I noticed was when you raised the hood , the four ring Audi logo / badge on the engine cover was missing . The reason I noticed this was because the one on my Audi Avant disappeared at one of two places while work was being done on it . It had been forced off as two of the four retaining studs were broken . Why ? Well , when I went to get one off ebay they were four times the price of the larger ones on the front and rear of the car . Not really important but it's good to watch out for those small items that are broken or not working that could be expensive especially on a cheap car . Great job ! Loved your VW camper video as well .Will watch the rest .

  • Great job! I'm good with hands, but I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to paint that well or even close to that. Actually one thing struck me: In my world (I used to live in Russia) people stay away from repainted cars. It's the clearest sign of a big accident. They just check the whole car body with a thickness gauge and if it's shows signs of repaint, they just move on to another car. So most people just leave the scratches unless they start to rust badly.

  • My car failed its MOT, cost to fix is £590 which I can’t afford. You’ve inspired me to fix it myself, luckily I have a company van to get myself to the shops and back. Love your video’s! Cheers

  • Brilliant work. Silver is a good look for calipers; its doesn't look boy-racer and gives a subtle quality appeal. You've made me curious now about this. Not having a garage hampers my enthusiasm though.

  • An honest, hard working man. I'd be very happy to pay for the time and effort he took to check the car over and make it look fantastic. I'd happily buy a car from him and feel I got a decent looking used car at a fair price.

  • When doing wet sanding on curved panels, I like using a kitchen sponge as a sanding block. It will follow the curves but prevent uneven sanding from your knuckles and such.

  • Great video you gave the car a serious revival , I’ve one question is the car on lowered suspension or is it standard springs and shocks because it looks very very well in the last pics

    • Yeah good question I think with it being an S-line it had a lowered suspension from the factory 👍
