So when you get guys like Alan Keating and Nik Airball, they can change your year, take advantage of it. They can also make ya have to drop in stakes too, which makes it exciting to watch. @justina5688@justina5688 Жыл бұрын
    • @@justina5688 I actually don’t think anything he said gave it off to Stanley. If you watch that hand carefully, on the river Nik leans into him while eye balling him, stays like that for a minute while Stanley is looking at the board, but I guarantee you that subtly in the back of Stanley’s mind he def noticed what Nik was doing. Then when Stanley glanced at him, Nik smiled at him and he knew that was a big tell which is why he followed up with the immediate “I bluffed all night..” I think those sequence of events psychologically dwelled on Stanley’s mind. This is why world class players just remain stoic under all circumstances, give nothing away. You never ever ever know what you say or do might subtly suggest to your opponent and how he might interpret it.

  • Mathematically speaking, probability of bluffing with total air and zero blocker in a 650k pot is inversely proportional to the bettor's IQ, and is an independant event irrelevant to the previous showdowns. Hence, a call here is probabilistically justified. Well done Stanley!

  • I think that the fact Nik had been going all the way to the river with moderate to weak hands, with the odd speech play at the end of the hand and what Stanley mentioned, "steeling money" made a lot of sense in calling. I mean the over bet of 160k was suspicious too, it looked like it would of been a chop at worse for Stanley as he looked more like he had some sort of high jack and was worried that he had a King.

    @evelynroadmedia9415@evelynroadmedia94157 ай бұрын
  • 'How can you call me?' Because it's basic math- if you over bluff in every single spot then every bluff catcher is +EV to call. You would think literally every 'professional' poker player would understand this.
