The old Mario model is so much more interesting than the childish looking Mario
I actually like marios new design because it was always meant to be a kids game so people saying its too much for little kids just doesn't make sense, i also think mario now has a much cleaner animation and design which is nice

the one thing that i do actually like about the old mario design is how much he resembled the super mario world sprites. other than that though the current sprites are a massive improvement.
