  • My journey with TWICE started last year, and I didn’t know that I was beginning a life with one of the most supporting, loving, hardworking, and generous people ever as a part of it! When I first watched my first TWICE video, that being the ‘Fancy’ music video, I was unaware of the world I was introducing myself to and the happiness I would find while discovering it even more with each passing day. I know that the nine of you started your journey five years ago, and one of my biggest regrets in life is not being there to support you from the very beginning. I know that you have worked hard for years prior to even debuting as a group together and the path to getting to it might have been long, and maybe even grueling. You have come a long way since the young, eager, and nervous group that you were five years ago. Every day since, you have worked to become more experienced, relaxed, and focused on having fun. Again, I know I haven’t been with you since the very beginning, but I have been fortunate enough to spend the past year catching up on TWICE’s discography and evolution as a group. I have never seen a group mature as humble and deserving as you all have. I have watched your music videos in awe, danced along to your live performances, and listened to your music with great inspiration. I know that I don’t even need to say that all nine of you are outstanding dancers, singers, rappers, and performers overall. Each of your individual and unique talents have combined to build something stronger and provide entertainment for millions that is only as legendary because you all are working together. Your differing personalities are so compatible to create a union that you and ONCE have come to know as a family. Even though you each have had different experiences in the past and even now, you go through everything together and TWICE is only successful because your nine hearts beat as one. You have had to endure so much over the past five years, and some of the unfortunate situations that you have been in, I have only heard about. I only wish that I was there as a ONCE when you all have gone through some of your darkest moments, but I know that you survived them hastily. Despite not being there at the beginning, I am here as an adoring ONCE now, and if there is one statement that I can make about the power of TWICE, it lies in the beauty of how you recover and grow from some of your most difficult moments. I know that whatever obstacles TWICE has to face in their future, the nine of you will come out of it effortless and more happy than you were before. I know this for two reasons: you have love for each other, and you have love for ONCE. Through everything that I have discovered TWICE going through, I have noticed a common theme that allows you make it out of every tough situation, and that is love. Because the nine of you love each other so much, in a way that no other person can, you have able to persevere through all that life has thrown art you. Similarly, the ONCE has provided more support and admiration for the nine of you, and are willing to sacrifice so much to make sure all of you remain happy at all times. I have never seen such a beautiful and unique exchange between an artist and a loving fanbase. The legacy of TWICE is built on a familial relationship, and it has only grown since before you all even debuted. I have witnessed ONCE single-handedly pulling you out of your darkest moments and I have found so much hope and love in the way that they lift you up when you fall every single time. I know that the experiences TWICE has gone through has only brought the group closer to each other and created a bond that is unbreakable and greater than some of the relationships this world has ever seen. I know the nine of you have created so many memories over these years that you keep only with each other, and I strive to have a sisterhood with my friends the way that you have established one with one another. The love that you have for each other and ONCE is so unconditional, and I am honored to be able to be a part of that love from this point of my life and moving onward. Above everything else, I want to thank all nine of your parents and families for providing you all with the resources and possibilities to reach your success. They are the most proud of you in this world, understand you more than we do, and love you in a way that we never could. They are always in the hearts of ONCE, as we know they have always been and always will be in all of yours. I want to say, as gratefully and as with as much admiration as possible, happy anniversary TWICE!! Though I haven't been a ONCE for as long as I hoped, the love I have for TWICE and ONCE has transcended any measure of time. Thank you for being by our side for years and working so hard to bring us so much content. Thank you, and ONCE, for willingly accepting me into such a large and loving family. You have entertained us and endured so much to do so and we are so grateful. There are no words to describe how appreciative we are and how excited we are to build a future with you. TWICE is already on top of the world, and have created such a revolutionary impact on music as we know it. All nine of you will always be iconic musicians and artists, as well as individuals with some of the most generous hearts to change the world for the better. We hope that you find happiness and worth in everything that you do in your future. Please remain in stellar health and faith, and we absolutely adore you more than you can ever know! We love you!!
