Shopping Paris Flea Markets | Amazing Haul! | Thrift with Me
Welcome to my European Sourcing Trip series! This summer, I spent nearly a month in Europe to visit family and do some vintage shopping/sourcing for my Etsy shop. I thrifted in England, UK and Paris, France and found so many amazing pieces.
In this episode, I’m taking you to the biggest flea market in Paris: Les Puces de Saint-Ouen. My favorite markets within the flea were: Paul Bert Market, Serpette, and Vernaison Market. I also found a neighborhood market near my AirBnB and spent most of the day shopping that too. I can't wait to show you all the art and vintage treasures I brought home!

The painting you brought home for yourself was amazing! You actually paid a great price for it! It included a great frame and that’s worth a lot on its own. My husband and I tend to pick up artwork, both large and small on our travels. One time a photographer in Hawaii, who was selling us a photo (cost quite a bit more than your purchase, said to my husband, “come back next year and tell me that you miss the money “. Such a valid point, after we enjoy it we don’t miss the money we spent! You mentioned making a video about Paris vintage markets, I would love to see that, especially since I will be visiting Paris with my daughter and the markets are #1 on my itinerary!!!! Thanks for another great video!
They painting was such an unexpected purchase! I still can't believe I have a painting from Paris on my walls - what a dream! Yes, I'm planning to a Paris video soon before everyone goes for the summer!
@@AllPutTogether We’re going to Paris at the end of April to celebrate her college graduation… Go Bruins!!!
Maybe this information will be interesting for someone. The largest flea market in Europe is the Braderie de Lille with over 10,000 stalls. I've never been there, but maybe I'll have the chance next year. Greetings from Germany
Totally adding this to my list now!! thx! :)
60 miles of vendors. Wow!
Oh emm geee... that large (and expensive;) painting is incredible. Total stunner with all its colours. Loooove. Infact all the art is amazing... good scores :)
Thank you!!! Yes, worth every penny and a miracle I was able to get it home safe. It was meant to be. ;)
I moved to Europe 5 yrs ago. I love all the markets and yes switching your mindset to prices for your personal shopping works. To find the best deals for reselling hit the back streets, hidden alleyways etc. Ask the locals where they shop, and often to local pickers. I discovered some shops in Scotland that are 70% less then all the big name markets. Glad you enjoyed yourself and hope you return.
I'm going to have to hit you up the next time I go to Scotland! Great tips - thank you!
Me too! I am nuts about picking up art! I made a hallway into a gallery and switch pieces out! Cannot wait to go to Paris flea markets. Thanks again for taking us along!! ❤
I love the brass hand, all the art and those spade carved stools! All of it! 😍😍
I wish I would have grabbed the hand! Although I feel like it was very pricey when I asked.
"Also in that same bin might've been a vibrator" LMFAO! This is officially my favorite thrifting channel.
Haha you never know what you're going to find and not something I would advise people buy secondhand... ;)
Paris Market!!!! Your large abstract colorful painting...Magnificent!!! U will never tire of its breathtaking beauty!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞
I still can't believe it arrived safely! It's one of my most cherished possessions now.
Love your forever piece. So colorful. I was surprised you were able to bring the baguette home on the plane, but it’s fun.
Thank you! The colors stood out so much in a sea of landscapes. The baguette definitely went into checked bags. I would have been so sad if it was taken.
Thank you for sharing love the video you got some awesome art can't wait for next video have a wonderful blessed weekend.
Thanks so much!!
Wow, doesn’t get any better than this😀. Looks like a fabulous trip. Hugs!
It was an amazing trip. Already thinking about going back next year when we're in the UK for a wedding. :)
I’m insanely in love with your “big” painting❤. I have been to that flea market in Paris, and I could spend days there.
Thank you! It stood out so much in a sea of landscapes, still lifes and figure paintings. I just had to have it!
Great video and great finds! When I travel I always bring four rolls of dollar store bubble wrap in my suitcase, and it always get used up!
That's a great idea! I didn't know they had bubble! Totally doing this next time too. :)
Absolutely love your last painting 😍
Thank you!! I still can't believe I got it home safe. A true miracle!
What an amazing experience, the Paris flea markets, oh my goodness! And my favorite is your mid century painting, I soooo love that! Glad it made it home with no damage. It is exquisite. Thought you were going to get that little hand-what was it? Whatever it was, I loved that. And I also am so glad to see you got that interesting blue piece of pottery. I’m a bit of a pottery nut, love it so much, I’d have a hard time not buying too much of it there. Great video. Thanks for sharing your adventure. 🌸
I wanted the little hand so bad, but it was very pricey! So many things I had to leave behind, but glad I at least bought one big piece for myself. :) Thanks for watching!!!
The painting that made it home is beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you!! I still can't believe we got it home safe! A true miracle that nothing broke coming home.
@@AllPutTogether that’s what happens when you sell on line and become a good packer :) 🍂👏🏼👏🏼
I love your Gallery wall. I have Gallery Walls in my living room and dining room and I am now thrifting art to create a Gallery Wall in my Master Bedroom. Luckily, I live on my own so my Boho Decor is all my very own taste. I am digging your channel.
Thank you! The wall in my studio where I film is allllllll me, so I can do what I want. The rest of the house I try to be flexible, but usually do what I want there too. ;)
Wow!…..I collect Art…..I am obsessed with Art….I love your taste!
Thank you! Art is my obsession too! Its my fav thing to source.
Fantastic Art 🖼️ ❤❤
Thanks! My favorite thing to shop for in the whole world. If only I had a bigger budget... ;)
Loved all these video’s my friend
Thank you!!! ;)
I think the wooden box says "Trégastel" on the top which is a town in Brittany, France.
OMG You're totally right! Thank you so much for deciphering it. :)
I feel the pencil drawing looks Medieval with a Lancelot flair and ghostly wood creatures.
Yes, totally!! I'm excited to see how it looks framed. It's very detailed for pencil.
Omg, dying over the vibrator bin. Are you sure that baguette isn’t also a vibrator too?
I really like that baguette!🥖 haven’t looked at the price yet or even if it’s still for sale 😱 xx
Haha thats for me forever! ;)
That chair at 1:54 🤩🤩
Hiii! Maybe I missed it but could you just tell me what the names of each flea market are? Going in October and would love to try to check them out! Thank you 🥰
Think she'd been influenced by the film ";The Rebel", re the Infantile S.O .A. She should have gone down the Rue de Rivoli, might have seen a Chaim Soutine, .Nice filming though. Hope she gets her stuff home ok.

I still can't believe how amazing it was. Really want to go back next year and shop all over again! ;)
Do you know how to expose your marchendaise to sell there? It's a tax or some regulation?
Isn’t the Euro Close to 1 for 1?
What was the first market you visited? You didn’t say.
Is there a name for the elephant chain in the background of your video?
I couldn't find any info on it when I looked it up. I'll have to ask my in-laws who gave it to me if they know. It's such a happy piece!
Tell us about your interesting necklace! 😍
I scored it at thrift clearance sale years ago. I actually had it for sale for ages and no one bought it. Then one day I decided to wear it and now I will never be able to park with it!
Do you happen to know the name of the neighborhood market near your AirBnb??
I think it was this one: 13 metro, Porte de Vanves stop: 16-18 Av. Georges Lafenestre, 75014 Paris, France. We did have to take the underground a few stops, but it was the closest to where we were staying.
Thank You so much! I was hoping it was the Vanves Market because that was already on our list to visit and I didnt want to have to find time to squeeze in another one! Haha! @@AllPutTogether
Do you live in the states?
Yes, I'm based in Oregon.
I'm interested in what you found, not how you packed it...
Keep the baguette sister
100%! It's just too fun.
@@AllPutTogether it’s not only fun but rare, I love it!
Oh dear, she skipped the Picasso!
More chat about what you are looking at and less piano please..x
Yea! Usually I do but some vendors get really weird about pictures and video which makes it hard. Thanks for watching! ❤️
Nice video but the thumping music is very annoying.
No offense but you should have just left that Art piece in Paris.....
Never! It's to good!
Film slower so we can actually enjoy it, you’re sooo fast..😢
