  • I used to own this plane. My wife designed the paint scheme, sadly we had to sell this due to a new job. I sure do miss her.

  • My dream airplane. I have a family of 5 and this could get me from Maine to Florida in 2 stops safely. 1 stop may be a bit of a stretch for ME. Maybe in the next life. Man, I wish I was rich.

  • Nice bird. One caution: ease of removing/installing seats is great, but you should also have weight and balance papers for each configuration. Have multiple W&B forms computed by your mechanic to add to the aircraft’s airborne paperwork.

  • First plane I owned was a '79 Cherokee 6 PA32-300. More plane than I needed at the time. Definitely not a chop and drop landing like most high wings. Loved it but replaced with a 182 and flew it for 25 years. I had model with club seeting including table and icebox.

    @dennisholder8427@dennisholder84272 жыл бұрын
    • They do like to land a certain way, once you learn it is easy enough. The 182 is a great plane also.

  • That plane looks great! I'm not a pilot but the instrumentation would need an update for many but I would love to have a plane like that and maybe upgrade the GPS. Still dreaming not buying here but you can't really ask for much more than that, unless you need all the up to date stuff with auto pilot, terrain avoidance tec. Great video as always.

  • Nice video as always. I clicked the link for their website and the price is not shown. You know what that means....If you have to ask, you can't afford it.... Love the airplane though. Last flew in one with 5 friends and scuba tanks in 1981 to the Bahamas... Walkers Cay. No problem whatsoever for this airplane.

  • Which tank has water💦🤨 G,day from Sydney Australia. Firstly, fantastic review of the Piper Cherokee with its Continental o-540 (how about one of those on each wing)? So...there are four individual tanks in the wings. How do you establish from the bucket contents, which tank you have water containent? Thankyou for explaining the performance chart for the plane. 🌏🐝

    @johnfitzpatrick2469@johnfitzpatrick24692 жыл бұрын
    • This plane didn't have any water in the tanks. You select each tank one at a time and drain, then either go out underneath and check it after each time or have a helper do the draining while you check the contents of the bucket in between each drain. Thank you watching

  • I don’t know much about prices of planes I’m not a pilot but it seems to be a good price on what your getting. I always wanted to fly but I’m a big guy at 390 lbs and I don’t think I would fit in them training planes I would need one this size and lessons would be expensive. Love your videos keep up the good work

    • Carl. I worked with a gentleman about your size and fit in this airplane.... I was the pilot and he was the co-pilot, the first time I took off with him in the right seat, the plane banked to the right. An easy fix was to keep about 10 to 15 gallons out of the right side of the fuel tanks. You should try fitting in one, I think you will be surprised.

    • @@dougsarto41 thanks for the information Doug, my question is do most flight schools have this size available? How would the 182 compare to this plane? Thanks again for you time….

      @carlmanning6707@carlmanning67072 жыл бұрын
    • @@carlmanning6707 I have not had the opportunity to fly in a 182. My suggestion would be to contact a local flight school with a 182 a schedule an indroductory flight. It would hurt to try it out.

  • I absolutely love these planes and want to buy one at some point but for god sakes, who designed this thing and why did they think it was a good idea to put the engine instruments on the other side of the plane!?!? Great review.

    @chrisr4804@chrisr48042 жыл бұрын
    • Thank you for your comment, you are right that some of the panel could be laid out differently but it comes down to space sometimes. A digital engine monitor would help with that.

      @aerolife1646@aerolife1646 Жыл бұрын
    • If you where in this plane and the pilot died in flight, I would want some sort of instruments on my side in order to get myself (and others) down on the ground instead of in the ground. My thoughts.
