Martial Arts legend, philosopher and movie start Bruce Lee and his son Brandon Lee were buried at Lake View Cemetery in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, WA. While it's not difficult to find out this piece of information, finding out where their actual grave site is located within the cemetery can prove to be challenging. In this video, I show you how you can get to their grave site from the entrance of the cemetery.
One you arrive to Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee's grave site, for those of you who have visited in the past, you will notice that it has been renovated. Check out how it now looks in 2021.
Before taking you to Lake View Cemetery, I stop by Volunteer Park located next door and give you a walking tour. I point out the main amenities at this centrally located including the water reservoir, water tower, Seattle Asian Art Museum and Conservatory. Volunteer Park is a great place to walk or relax, and if you're going to visit Bruce Lee and his son it's a ideal park for stopping by.

  • They put the walkway to keep visitors to Bruce and Brandon from stepping over other graves. Also all the dirt and grass were alway getting messed up from so many visitors so they just make concrete cement. But black railing so boring and cold and industrial. Should be red and gold Chinese New Year lucky colors and have dragons surrounding the walkway and leading to the memorial headstones.

  • I really appreciate your videos. What a beautiful spring day in Seattle. I moved there in the late 1980's & stayed until just before the turn of the millennium 1999. I have very fond memories of Volunteer Park. When I first moved to Seattle, SAM was still housed in that fabulous art deco building prior to the construction of the museum downtown on 1st with the Hammering Man & the original building being designated as the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Lovely tour. Thank you. Your commentary is always easy to listen to as well. Watching your videos & tours always gives me a sense of nostalgia & feely memories of a beautiful city & the years I lived there. It was a special time in the late 80's through the 90's. The era of Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, Sleepless In Seattle & of course the ubiquitous Grunge scene at the time. I was even an extra in that very Seattle movie "Singles". If you haven't seen it, you should check it out; lots of fun & a fairly decent representation of the times. Cheers from Canada.

  • Great video Dennis. When I first visited the graves, I was told to look for the white heart nearby. Now all you say is look for the only graves surrounded by black railings. The grey wall also stops you from reading “The key to immortality is a life worth remembering.” Which is inscribed on the other side of the bench. Sorry but I feel it is to enclosed. But it still is wonderful place to visit.
