    • You can make a trip to harbor freight and get a jig saw and drill for a total of $40. I built a Sim rig for Sim racing and drifting and with having no wood skills it came out amazing. Diy doesn't have to be a hand saw and screwdriver.

    • Good question..! i used 2x1s instead of 2x2s because of 2 reasons.. 1st is, it will be lightweight and structure will be sleeker, and 2nd less usage of wood will make it cost effective. 2x1 makes it like a lego to assemble easily. we can surely build it with 2x2s too i hope i was able to make you understand the purpose behind. :) cheers man thanks for watching.. stay tuned for more !

      @LEOKHAN@LEOKHAN23 күн бұрын
    • I would advise you to buy a good quality and sturdy Tenon saw and a mitre box and expect to pay around 50 to 100 bucks. Not only will this give you more accurate cuts but you can also rig in some stop blocks to your mitre box that will allow you to cut repeatable parts to the exact same sizes which is very important in woodworking. Measuring, marking and cutting to a line without any kind of guide for each of the 4x legs, 2 styles and 2 rails introduces way too much room for error and your table is unlikely to be square and accurate this way and when finished it will stand out like a sore thumb. These type of videos are great for inspiring people into DIY but they rarely go into the actual realities of a newbie trying to build successfully using cheap crappy construction timber and limited tools

      @user-bt5qt9pp4x@user-bt5qt9pp4x21 күн бұрын

  • You have a monitor and pc like that but don't have a circular saw or a Philips bit for that driver?? Also, that would cost much more than $45. The castors alone would be $45, a new can of stain is $20+, etc. I appreciate the effort and the video but this should have been easier with a couple more common tools and it definitely costs more than $45 to build any sort of table. Especially nowadays.

    • I actually have the basic power tools.. The purpose of this video was different, I wanted to show that even if you don't have power tools, you still can build it, no excuses lol, & cost depends on sourcing & region dependent, these caster are dirt cheap Chinese.. I think I've put a link in the description.. & 1x2s and MDF board took the cost down for me. And the cable management rack was like 2-4 $ lol, that was the cheapest plastic rack I could find.its holding up all the wires & power cords.... Anyways a big thank you brother for watching, I tried to break the trend of buying costly desks instead of building one ✌🏻 check the 2nd video it's made from scrap board.. I hope you'll like it

  • Built mine too way back. Don't care enough to make it fancy like this. No way this is achievable for $45 where I am though lol. Not even when I made mine pre-covid would I be able to find the lumber that cheap.

    • That's great man!! It's not fancy at all bro 😂 just tried to build as simple as possible, and the cost absolutely depends on sourcing from affordable places & sadly some (Regions) have expensive lumber. If you go for a solid wood table top.. it will go in hundreds of $ alone. That 1x2s & laminated MDF board helped the cost down. any ways thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed it :) check 2nd video it's even cheaper lol
