Malcolm X
"Message to the Grass Roots" is a public speech delivered by human rights activist Malcolm X. The speech was delivered on November 10, 1963, at the Northern Negro Grass Roots Leadership Conference, which was held at King Solomon Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan.[1] Malcolm X described the difference between the "Black revolution" and the "Negro revolution", he contrasted the "house Negro" and the "field Negro" during slavery and in the modern age, and he criticized the 1963 March on Washington. "Message to the Grass Roots" was ranked 91st in the top 100 American speeches of the 20th century by 137 leading scholars of American public address. - wikipedia

  • Malcolm was a special brother who dedicated his life amongst Africans globally. Malcolm wasn’t dishonest, he wasn’t violent and he was never ever hateful. I have been listening to the speeches of Brother Malcolm for twenty five years, he was so uplifting and honest by exposing the racial injustice done by Europeans against non Europeans. Our brothers and sisters of our Mau Mau families in Kenya standing toe to toe against the British and destroying them. It’s the same with the Zulus destroying the British in South Africa and the Ashantis also destroying the British in Ghana. Brother Malcolm excellently explaining about Africans involved in our revolution at home against those who had no business in Africa. Malcolm was defiant and he wasn’t intimidated one bit. Am Malcolm X.
