Ça ne viendrait pas à l’idée aux occidentaux d’exposer du matériel russe, puisqu’il n’est pas digne d’intérêt . C’est un honneur pour le OTAN, de voir son matériel matériel ainsi exposé . Russia is advanced country not like the technologically unsophisticated countries that the west has invaded in previous conflicts. Did they really expect that their weaponry would not be captured and that the technology that is is based upon would be at risk? That’s why the US isn’t sending their more modern F22’s and F35’s. Although Russia can obtain NATO US weapons in the open market to reverse engineer them, what they actually capture in the battlefield are totally different since they’re modified for this specific warfare which is the most valuable intellectual property asset there is that Russia has taken away from the US and NATO during this war knowing exactly how the west firepower matches up to theirs and it appears it doesn’t.

Strangely enough I just made that point about Russia. Russia has supplied more (captured) tanks than any other country. Russia has given Ukraine over 500 tanks. Poland only gave 300+.

@@fiaadmin92 Well in fact there is. Ukraine has developed its own systems for the Russian designed tanks it uses. Specifically its own ERA, Nozh (Knife). But I think you can mainly put lower Ukrainian losses down to better tactics. And Ukraine has received over 1,000 tanks from donor countries (including Russia of course). Thats equivalent to 14 months of Russian tank production!

I don't think they can gain some relevant knowledge...
They already have studied western tech as soon as it appears. Long before it ever reached the battlefield in the Ukraine. So then russia copies the tech and tries to make something cheaper or more of a simpler design. During ww2 the German panzers were way ahead of the allies but it wasn't enough . Its how much of something you can make and ship it to the battle field . They said that the Russians during ww2 were making T34s so fast they were rolling off the production line and the crews were taking them straight into battle. Russia battle tactics are as many artillery pieces as you can have and as many tanks . It doesn't matter that it's inferior just their is a lot more of it so you over run the enemy. Russia has no problems with its troops body counts they don't care about the lives of their serviceman only to get the job done . When the cold War was raging the soviet Union Warsaw pact was to pour armour troops and airpower through the fulda gap . Natos job wasn't to stop it but to slow its momentum then let them pile up in the bottle neck . It was calculated that nato tanks who would be out numbered 10 to one so they would be expected to knock out at least 10 Tanks or IFVs . If the Soviets broke through the fulda gap then tactical nukes would be used . Russia is not as powerful as it was when it was the mighty USSR . All these idiots that think russia could take on and beat nato are stuck in the past . Russia would be out fought out classed out gunned and out flown . Russia would resort to nukes all some one would put a bullet in putins head for getting russia in this situation to start with. Putin longs for the days of the USSR.
