Tower Defense Simulator skins are very interesting. With 200+ in the game, some are naturally, quite rare. So, I wanted to look at the rarest category of skins in the game, the event skins, and guess which ones may return.

  • I think a mage jester skin would be cool. Instead of having bombs, he holds spellbooks to shoot a spell that matches the bomb.

  • Honestly I believe that people who played these events and got them legitimately deserve some kind of compensation, like a skin for example, just imagine if they went full-on in on the ROR2 aspect of Commando and gave him a Hornet skin (ROR2 Commando Skin) which is exclusive to people who beat the original Area 51 event 😊

  • i had halloween hunter from the code, infact ive had nearly every skin for a long time. the old christmas skins did look better. as the xmas rocketeer used to shoot a present with a special reload animations. and the xmas mini used to shoot candy canes.

  • Man I used to have Pumpkin Cowboy skin, which was considered rare because it was only available during halloween 2020... Until last Halloween event where you can get the skin through the Halloween crate again so now it isn't considered rare again

  • I quit tds cause the skin they decide to re release, tds used to be known as a gate keeping for the ogs. but now its whatever thankfully i still got some a few rare ones from the 2019 era and hopefully those do not make it into the crate system. Kinda sad that commando is getting a revamp soon gonna miss that old missile strike animation

  • You saying that you want the bunny skins is a huge ego boost to me for some reason lol. Because for some odd reason, I do have most of the bunny skin (exculding mortar) and the spring slasher. Idk just felt like flexing a bit. I do agree on gatekeeping tho :)

  • i miss the old slasher, he used to be viable until they nerfed him. He didn't even deserve the nerf since gladiator still outclassed him so every time i see him in my inventory i have to remember what they did to my boy.

  • Honestly, I just like the freezing towers so much I bought all of them, BUT Cryo. I wanted to earn her myself without a game pass. The only other event tower I am really interested in is Commando because I love ROR2 and would kill to have him when he eventually comes out as a game pass.

  • I think that if they are going to rework commado and sell it as a gamepass that they should give the people who owned it before the rework a special skin, just to show that they where an OG player. But hey, thats coming from someone who has commado soooooooooooo...

  • I’m really annoyed as I joined tds in 2019. So one year after the spring event came for tds (egg hunt), as I got the “bunny outlaw” as ranger was called this back then, the skin got bugged for everyone, so everyone lost this skin unless u contacted the devs during or slightly after the event, and little did i know… I didn’t contact the devs as I wasn’t into social media and stuff and couldn’t be bothered.. 😅

  • I am extremely disappointed. I would have been able to buy the frost blaster if I would have known that it was the last time it would pass because at the beginning I was hesitant to take it but it was not written limited and I I looked a few days ago and it was written so I'm very sad not to be able to have it, it's like Toxic Gunner except that for him I started the game 1 week after the end of his event and view that he didn't stay during the entire frost event I didn't get him

  • if you ask me, reworking and re-releasing old towers is totally cool...... IF you compensate players who put time and efforts into getting them originally by doing ONE simple thing, a skin unique specifically to OG owners. Gladiator, Commando, Swarmer, Frost Blaster, etc. if they obtained the Tower during the event duration they should receive a skin for their effort and dedication of playing TDS for such a long time.

    • OG's doesnt have a right to gatekeep anything from newer player, but im still angry i we didn't get a frost spirit sledger, also newer players also need to work hard for those skins they still cost 4k coins, and gatekeeping makes the game worse due to the amount of content being locked from normal players.

  • I think most of these rare skins should stay locked. i don't exactly have all of them, but i think having a skin like that would be a great way to show how long you've been playing the game. like, there are barely any skins now that show that i've been playing since the game wasn't even half a year old. but towers, though? rerelease them. it's a good opportunity to make "new" concepts without doing much. a good way to implement this would be giving everyone who already has the og tower, just, keep the old model. it requires 0 effort and older players know how cool and epic you are for playing a roblox game for a long time.
