    • great vid 👍 I was considering making a second account myself, but was a bit apprehensive about the grind. you showed me here it's really not that bad. one thing that should probably be mentioned in part 2, which wasn't mentioned here likely cos it was recorded a while ago, is that buying mission resets is NOT the most efficient use for gold. for the purpose of progressing as fast as possible at the start, yes, buying missions is your best bet . . . but in the long run, you get a better gold to credits ratio if you spend that gold to buy certain bundles, specifically the ones that give less boosters and fewer cosmetics

  • The new player experience is so different from when I started this game. Its good that at least one creator is taking the time to see what its like to be a new player working with the new aquisition system. This video was interesting and it took me back to how cool it was to get new cards to play and create new decks. Thats what always kept me coming back to Marvel Snap. The gameplay is fun overall so thats mainly what keeps me coming back now. But in the beginning it just felt so good getting so many new cards to try

    • Yes! Up through around 1,000 CL it feels great and now after that we have spotlight caches to help really craft the collection that you want. I've been really enjoying the experience overall. Sure post infinite ladder feels bad, but we have conquest now to help bridge the gap.

    • Yeah, it was fascinating to see the difference in the card acquisitions. When you pulled she hulk, I thought you got lucky with a series 5 for a bit as she was the first thing I bought when the token shop came out. It was also cool to see the collectors cache as I when it came out I already had most of series 4 and 5.

  • That's an awesome unique idea. I think you're faster then average players at leveling up by at least 50% . Since you get more credits from reaching infinite and using gold for refreshing missions. Plus you get more boosters from Conquest. The editing is top notch. Excellent video.

    @expertb6348@expertb63488 ай бұрын
  • This is an incredible video. You’re doing great! One quick note - I heard recently that saving gold for some of the bigger bundles is now more advantageous than refreshing missions. I can’t speak to the accuracy of that, but one point is that it would require less time on your end. Missions will also give boosters and season pass XP, but just thinking out loud that it might be worth exploring. Regardless, thanks for the content buddy! Excited to see Allioth in your Galactus lockdown deck, as that alone will determine if I get the card! Keep it up!

    @xamhemelx@xamhemelx8 ай бұрын
    • Thank you for being here early! For a little while token tuesday's and Bundles were the most efficient use of gold, but over the last few months and from what is datamined for the future so far gold bundles are giving smaller amounts of credits and next to no tokens moving forward. I wasn't sure whether to dive into it, but decided to skip mentioning it since it's an uncertain thing. When someone watches this there might not be any good gold bundles coming up and they end up waiting weeks or months without a good one coming their way. I'm really excited to try out Allioth as well! Especially with the Galactus deck, but also in decks like sandman ramp or it might even fit into a crazy negative deck to hit all three lanes on T6 :D

  • This was an interesting look at how the early progression works with the current system. I hadn't realized how boosters-bound early progression is. That explains all the booster rewards in Conquest, with me being 70% s4/s5 complete that's just where i dump extra medals after i got everything else.

One question though: I read in a guide that you should stay at series 1 .. somewhere at CL 175 until you reach infinite the first time. Is this really a good plan? • I hope you enjoy coming back! I think the conquest mode really helps bridge the early game into late game experience (especially if you are able to hit infinite as a lower CL player) The spotlight caches will be a great resource if used wisely! They are the key to getting S4/S5 cards to turn decent builds into great ones! Save up 4 if you are wanting a specific card from them. I've been able to get way more new releases and other s4/5 cards compared to before the spotlight cache update. I would think a few weeks of spending 15-20 minutes a day completing dailies/weeklies could get you up and running into the more competitive builds at the time!

  • Nice, knowing what is good, how to build and not learning each card as they appear would speed it up quite significantly. I started during the Phoenix season intending to be F2P. The store opened during the Legion release, which I pinned but didn’t use tokens on till I decided to buy the Phoenix Pass after reaching season level 50. I think that roughly translates to first month of play just getting out the door. Then in 2nd month bought the Daken pass late, but not the Loki in this my third. The locations are much nicer if you buy the pass. I found I was limited with credits, and it worked roughly one spotlight pass every quarterly season (each week/chapter/card release) if you played for the missions. You know, you can find your secret origin when you order your cards by “recent”. You can see your first: pool 3 cards (you begin experimenting with) Spotlight unlocks (defining your first decks) Bought cards First split/pixel/ink… etc StormQuake with a bit of the fire bird is my first real deck and I absolutely love Cable…

You'll also start getting spotlight caches. Save 4 before using them on a week that gives you the best return. (Kitty pryde, legion, high evo, etc.) Finish off a core deck based on p3 cards you've gotten and abuse that until you have the resources for something else!

    • I got very lucky with those two! But I can say about 15 days later after a few spotlight caches I don't use either actively anymore! Right now the biggest meta decks that I think are somewhat achievable depending on your p3 collection is likely silk kraven as that only uses a handful of p3 cards. The other being a kitty pryde Shuri taskmaster deck as most of the pieces besides shuri, taskmaster, and kitty are p1/2! You could also good brood absorbing man if you pulled they key pieces of that one! Find a deck that you are missing only 1/2 cards from a almost complete build and use your rotating card next season to pull it and you'll be crushing it in no time!

It's performing Incredibly well right now. Spiderman can be jeff if you have him and iceman can be legion if you like! Captain marvel also feels replaceable if needed!

  • I made an alt account and zipped to infinite in less than 2 weeks. That was 2 seasons ago. Still not series 3 complete and ive hit infinite every season since in less than 2 weeks. Im also not upgrading any non variant cards. It's really fun.

    • Thank you! I really want to expand and do other things outside of highlights. It's tough knowing that something like this project takes a lot more time to make but gets much less traction. I think if I just continue focusing on improving the content and mixing in new types of content as I go they will eventually start balancing out!

  • If you want boosters fast all you have to do is play with cards you want boosters for and start a match and then retreat and thats it fast and easy boosters you cant control who you get them for but its fast and lower ranked cards have more chances for boosters so
