UK filmmakers, Fulwell 73 have assembled a host of British talent in this gritty, stylish thriller/gangster flick. ‘The Guvnors’ written and directed by Gabe Turner (In the Hands of The Gods, The Class of ’92) directs as hip hop star Harley Sylvester (Rizzle Kicks) makes his impressive big screen debut as a troubled gang leader seeking respect on a London estate. Doug Allen (The Firm, Gangster No.1) leads a notorious, old skool unit known as ‘The Guvnors’ seeking revenge for the brutal murder of their mentor. As two generations steeped in violence collide, both men are forced to reconcile their past and face the future.
