In That's Not My Neighbor, we play a security guard at an apartment building who must check the details of each resident requesting entry to determine if they belong. Guess wrong and let in a monsterous doppleganger, which means certain death for both the player and other residents.

    • I'm just glad that Mike is okay. Unfortunately there will always be trolls on KZhead who don't care about a person's wellbeing. Shame on them, they normally get a kick out of doing nothing in life but criticise and shame others. I pity them 😔. At least Mike has achieved so much for his hard work and has so many kind people who support him ❤ haters will always hate but people like Mike will grow stronger.

  • Most Doublegangers come in 2 types: convincing and obvious. The obvious ones has deformities that are a dead giveaway. Immediately push the emergency button on them (they include eyes out of place, exaggerated features, etc). Then there is the convincing types. They will be nearly perfect excluding missing 1 or 2 features. You need to actually check EVERYTHING to make sure you don't make a mistake. For example: don't assume the guy missing his hat is a faker until you ask him about it. The worst mistake you can make is to not check everything listed, including entry paper.

    • It's easier calling the room number plus if they don't have their hat they will most likely say that they left it at their room but don't allow them yet! Call their room number and confirm that they left their hat in their room

    • There is one character that is different in the hat rule I forgot his name but its the retired guy. In his document it says "ALWAYS wears a hat", So if he comes in without one, he might be a doppelganger. Another thing with him is that if you ask him why he isnt on the list and he response that he had an emergency at work, he's a doppelganger as he is retired.

  • "He didnt do a particularly good job, hes just not dead." This could be an interesting lore bit, how sucessful is humanity at surviving doppelgangers? Are they doomed? Love how there are already so many questions we could ask before the full game is out.

    • @@ratsmans5644 Well a lot of people do go outside (usually for work) and come home, so it's not super doomy. But yeah, they probably go for stealth because it gives them a huge advantage. And people chilling at home wouldn't be half as prepared as the DDD teams.

    • It seems humanity will be okay if we learn faster than the doppelgängers do. Some of the doppels are nearly perfect. But several are still behind the curve. Some of them look very similar but get mad and drop the act easily. But we’re less likely to survive if we aren’t consumed by paranoia. I’ve heard the idea that Henry didn’t die because he flagged everyone as a doppelgänger.

  • For everyone being mean about him not taking a long break he could’ve pre-recorded videos to put out so we didn’t have to go long period. Time without hearing from him or seeing any of his new content. Also, you could be a source of income, so not posting means that he would lose that source it’s something a lot of KZheadrs do fill multiple videos ahead of time and just put them out. I don’t know if that’s the case I’m just putting out a theory for those who feel the need to comment of how short his break was.

  • The 2nd guy forgot to show his entry request which would show up next to his ID. Sometimes the ID can have spelling mistakes to the name, expired or no date, no photo, or no D.D.D symbol. On entry request it has the chance of having spelling errors, talking about how they are very human and to allow them in, or missing D.D.D Symbol. If you ask someone about a missing ID or Entry Quest the fake would say they either lost it, got a new one, That they shouldn't need one if they live there, or don't know what they are Also some folks in the building don't have jobs or are retried, if they said they were not on the list cause of a work emergency then they are a fake cause those folks shouldn't be working. You can also call their room if they have someone with them to confirm if they are there or not. Some details that I seen mess with some players is moles, some characters have them in certain spots while some have none at all

    • Actually, I think it's the opposite: if he suspects people wearing hats, then he would also suspect Clark for wearing glasses. Just would think that he is Booster Gold, instead of Superman, for example.

Some are pretty convincing too. Assuming someone who shows up with a hat is dop is hella reasonable and in most games would have been grounds for denial of entry save for the fact they put in the files they wear hats.😅

  • It's interesting that you got an obvious doppelganger as the first visitor. Normally games like this are programmed so the first person is clean, and usually the first bad person is usually a few guys in. I guess that means it's totally random who will walk by.

  • This game certainly gave me some moments where I was scared that the doppelgangers would kill him by the end. But he made it and getting a rank of B isn't the worst thing to happen, he could've gotten F, but B is a good rank. This game really tests you and I think I'll watch the others one that include the other modes.

  • I noticed a common mistake on first playthroughs They always think that the door closes on its own, which is reasonable because most games do. I cant help but facepalm though lol

    • It's the game's fault really, The door should be 1 button, pushed down for the door to open, and up for closed. It should also automatically close, for better gameplay. I have a feeling the reason why this isn't the case is because whoever programmed the game couldn't figure out how to.
