God zangief still sucks, they thought by letting you do a level three off jabs and ex lariat was supposed to help lol

- they always have and always will hate grapplers Either the best zangief that ever existed works for their balance department and regularly beats everyone's pants off or the balance team just doesnt like being held and hugged by other people

- I think Sajam said it, but the reason grapplers are on the lower end of tier lists is because players don’t like playing to their rules. Grapplers control the pace and they hate that

- Zangief looks pretty competitive here, JB is a top player and rashid is not a weak char or one that has a particularly hard time against gief either.

- This is a really bad matchup for Gief, but the buffs they gave him are quite good, just none really showed up in this match. His lvl1 can catch Blanka Ball and stuff now so you can react to those now. Except Cammy. Disjointed hitbox
