Hi all! It’s Christmas in July and the kids got Amazon Tablets! Santa decided to visit our home early with a gift to take on our upcoming vacation. In this vlog we share the surprise and the pros and cons of the new tablets.

We were planning to get our son a regular Fire Kids Tablet for his 3rd birthday and we accidentally got him this one instead: even though he is only 3 and the device is meant for elementary age kids and not the preschool group…we figured we would be right there with him the whole time. You are amazing!!!!! The Amazon Representatives weren’t this helpful!!!! Thanks to you we got our tablet set up so quickly!!!! Like less than 15 minutes quickly. Also he has had his tablet for the past day and a half and he loves it!!!!!
The only difference between the HD 10 and the HD 10 Pro models is the case. The HD 10 Pro has a slimmer, less durable case for older kids. The HD 10 has the larger, chunky case for younger kids. That's why they are the same price. Same tablet, different cases.
i like to buy 1 for my son but i have been looking where to buy here in malta but can't find one even amazon can't deliver this in malta..
My kids have this Amazon fire 10 tablets as well. You can buy the bumper kind of covers for them as well. I have a 5 year old and a 9 year old and both have this tablet, they both are pretty rough handling this tablets and I was nervous about it as well. I did get the bumper style cases for them and it is perfect because quite frankly they drop the tablets all the time. You can also buy separate screen protectors for them but I got the screen protectors with the bumper cases since they were included with them.
Thank you for the info! Jane and Peter are very tough on their tablets as well, and the additional padding on the case would be beneficial.

Would you recommend an iPad over the Amazon fire?
I would recommend the Amazon tablet over an iPad. We have an iPad, and we have allowed the kids to use it from time to time, but we always prefer the kids use the Amazon tablet instead. The tablet is much lower in cost and more durable. Each are comparable with functionality, but the tablet comes made for kids with kid’s content already available. This content comes with the tablet for two years of free use before charged at just under $8/month. The kids drop the tablets often and use the extra content that is made for kids. I think they also prefer the tablets over the iPad.
My Amazon fire HD10 kids tablet only works with my home wifi. What is the best tablet for kids which can be used anywhere on the go and can detect any wifi and Bluetooth tethering in the car from our smart phones? My tablet is useless when we are out of the house.
We’ve had good experiences with the HD 8 and 10 kids tablets. Each connect to WiFi in and out of the home with no issues; however, we didn’t try to tether from our phones. The HD 8 lasted a couple years before we found issues with connecting them to WiFi regardless of location, which seems to be a common problem after a few years of use.
My Amazon Fire HD 10 Plus did the same thing when we did went to Philadelphia. you basically have to download apps and shows on airplane mode before you hit the road. BTW my mom says the same about my 5 year old brother..”how do you have so much energy and where do you keep it”😂😂😂🙄😂😂😂😂
I'm not sure why you are having that issue. My kids have the same tablets and they do work with wifi in house and other wifi as well. We don't have any issues with the Bluetooth function either.
@@TimeaWebster my parents just did a hard reset by turning off the 2 year old’s kid tablet completely and then turning it on again
What is the biggest difference between this then the fire hd kids edition
1. The screen size is much larger 2. A carrying handle is attached that can also be used as a stand 3. It is more fragile 4. It is much thinner

It’s the Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Pro tablet, 10.1", 1080p Full HD, ages 6-12, 32 GB, (2021 release). Works great and is very durable with the updated cases. A review of the cases is provided on our channel.
Can anyone tell me please, is it worth buying if I don't fancy paying for Kids+ subscription? I don't want a tablet that will cost me £500 in total
We like the tablet, but there are cheaper options for Amazon tablets that work just as well.

Not at all. We’ve had no problems when KZhead was downloaded on the tablets.
Hi how have your kids been getting on with these it's been a few months since this video,
They enjoy them very much. The tablets look like they can break easy, but they are very solid. The kids enjoy the larger screen and the stand. Overall it was a great purchase and we would definitely buy again.
