  • That last hand, we need to give credit to Rampage for his table talk. He said, "I didn't put him on a flush draw, I thought he has straight", implying he can beat a straight with a flush, hence the raise, which is why I think Tony G folded. Hero calling with a pair a 4 will look so stupid if he actually ran into a flush.

  • Tony G should have folded J9 after he raised Rampage on flop, when he got re raised to 25k, a good player folds trips with 9 kicker

    @billysikes1374@billysikes137411 ай бұрын
    • That’s looking at the hand through the most “basic” lens. When you use deeper levels of thinking? Why would he check raise his trips and risk tipping me off so quickly? I’m gonna 3 bet him to see if he’s got it. On THAT board? He could have a ton of hands if it was also two flushed. Regardless, a bunch of broadway straight draws. Could be be an overpair deciding on 3 betting now to check back turn and evaluate on river. In Tony G’s shoes? I think I wouldn’t have been as concerned about a 3 bet as much as I’d be curious to the call. Nm the fact that he BLOCKS trip jacks holding one. 10 10 would likely just flat vs 3 betting. Hoping you hit a draw of some kind but also knowing your fullhouse outs if hit would be easy to see. Not in this case being a 9, but any card less than a 9 is super likely to be harmless. What looks like an “easy” fold, becomes A LOT harder when you realize that your jack severely blocks his trips and there’s quite a few combos of draws and even over pairs that you’re well ahead of. Also if HE has the jack, he’s gonna be LESS LIKELY to 3 bet the flop because he blocks our value hands and even blocks our potential semi bluff draws with the king! It’s a tough fold but yeah if you’re a total nit? You can confidently fold it every time. Which leads to? You guessed it! Getting pushed around to the point you never have a clue.

  • I had watched several clips before this one and none of them had Nik at the table... Hearing Nik out of nowhere had it hit so clearly how he always sounds but I could never put my finger on it... He sounds like the rich kid that finally has "friends" around because his parents threw him a $100k birthday party... He is overstimulated with his newfound celebrity/power, never shutting up, always talking loud to make sure his subjects can hear his proclamations, and dictating how everyone participates in the festivities... He could very easily be a person that just wants to have fun, but this perception is why he annoys me...
