Light flywheel and light driveshafts... on a FWD you got to have a light flywheel, light wheels, coilovers, fresh bushings *and never forget to add new engine and transmission mounts*
Not a model but fluid flushes are pretty important
Well now all you gotta do is a "so you want" on both a 4 rotor, but also a Plymouth relaint K car (my first car) but also a video on their weirdest and the wakiest car mods that people do for no apparent reason. "So you want to rice your car"
You should put affiliate links in your description to a recommended product when you talk about things for all cars like ceramic coats! Super helpful, easy and it helps out the people who don't know much about these parts! Just a suggestion. Also your killing the content! Great Job!
Scrub radious - part of wheel fitment, and can make or break a build.
You should do a Donut Media vs. Fitment Industries employee cars
Damn have they done one yet? I know people always ask for crossover episodes & it should actually be a twice a year or once a year thing.
Deserves more likes
Id love to see a couple of races between them.
Would be awesome! Those are the only two automotive channels I subscribed too ngl 😂
That’s a dope idea
Ceramic coating your windshield is the best thing ever! Sometimes I feel like I don’t even need wipers when it rains
the government has been hiding this from us
Dude that so weird you say that cause i got an ad before this video about nexgen ceramic coating

I think no car payments is actually a super underated one. Can't wait to be making an extra few hundred bucks a month in a couple years.
I feel this one for sure. Once the new car feeling fades away, its much harder to fork over those dollars every month.
@@H0LYWARS10701 My car got in a little bump and I don't even use it anymore, I use my other car as a daily but still had to maintain full insurance and payment while not even driving it. Let me tell you, when I finally paid it off it was such a huge relief. Took it off insurance and unregistered until I can fix it to drive.
@@HaxNotice Wow man, that must of have been rough! Can't even begin to imagine how you felt after paying it off. Glad to hear you finally got it paid though! Good luck on getting it repaired! 🤙
Yeah it seems like these are more under appreciated than underrated lol
yes .. having no car payment feels great
Short Answer: Wheels, Tires and Suspension
*Slaps wheel* Fitment Industries Dot Com

Yep I think those are the most important, even more so if your car is slow. If you got a slower car but nasty handling it makes it way more fun.
In Germany we call it 3F-Tuning. Because It's the only Thing you can so legally here.
No a paid actor
Chrome delete most underrated. So simple, so cheap, so easy but can really change the look of a car
Sometimes looks tacky, but to each his own i guess lol
Add more chrome and drive a disco ball lol
agreed
@@jonathanzelaya9869 I use electrical tape for maximum tackiness
Chrome is best left to the 1950’s

A Fitment Industries decal on your car is super underrated, instant 30 extra horsepower per decal (no CEL either)
So I’m gonna have to say this. Having worked on a Porsche race team, I learned stainless steel brake lines are totally unnecessary. What people need are brake flushes and then they think it’s the stainless steel lines. We did endurance racing with rubber brake lines and had zero failures on them. Often the stainless lines can bind and fray over time if not installed correctly.
I'd say tires are a really underrated "mod". The amount of grip you can get from a good set of tires is amazing. Also if you want to do more skids you can put on some older ones. Tires are really underrated.
Too true! It's the only thing that separates us from the road.
Oh yeah A lot of People from new generations are getting grippy tires and Also wondering why they can't skid or burnout in any way even when traction or esc is off ahahaha trends....
The driver is an underrated mod, me thinks. Oh a lot of people like to spruce up the lights but don't actually adjust the headlamp leveling, not really a mod but some fruit for thought and also for the love of everything holy don't go on Quora or Reddit for car modding advice please
Where would you recommend people go for advice?
@@Eddieomar_Gonzalez To brand specific forum. Most likely anything you're going do, someone has done before and has instructions for it.
@@Eddieomar_Gonzalez Browse multiple different forums for your car. There’s one for everything I swear.
It depends really cuz some cars have subreddits full of knowledge that’s where I learned the most about my car but def cross check info between different site
The lights is a issue. But luckily for my old ass car has a auto adjustment for the lights
Thanks for making me not like my cars interior lol. The grey headliner not matching the rest of the black interior has never bugged me until you said something about it
Super easy to do yourself
Another under-rated car mod : full polly bushings in the rear of rwd cars
#1 underrated “mod” is weather tech floor mats.
till the clutch gets stuck or the accelerator throttle 😂
@@dominictalcott351 Buy the correct floor mats then
Fr tho got some for Christmas, and it definitely helps living in the midwest and they look so nice
@@dominictalcott351 been using them for 11 years, that has never happened. They use factory hooks and locks. There is warning label on them only because people like to improperly install things and blame the manufacturer so they can sue for cash.
@@Treaxvour lol i see what you’re saying, but i drive a 94 civic which didnt have that technology, and every time i clean my floor mats it happens
2 underrated modifications if you have a Turbo engine are oil catch cans and blow off valves. Catch cans will prevent your engine from getting gummed up and losing the horsepower that it already has. Upgraded blow off valves will prevent your Turbo from getting surge and destroying itself. I never see mention of them in your videos I'm guessing because fitment doesn't sell them. 😉 They are important beginner level modifications that will help protect your engine and future upgrades.
My engine bay is literally held up by strut bars
2 Underappreciated mods for me: Sway bar- I do not like roll. Another is upgraded bushings. Especially on an older car. Change and upgrade those bushings. Everything will feel tight and from-the-factory new again 🤘
I put some poly bushings on my 92 Accord it really woke the car up in the corners.
sway bars are a big one, i need to do bushings
Dude the runescape references are amazing hahaha
*cries in Anti-Sway Bars*
I was shocked he didn't say those
Reference 1:09 to 1:16...Sway bars are a mod that most people who are serious about performance mods already think of.
I appreciate the Volvo clip because most of the old ones do actually come stock with an LSD.
With what rear end? They actually don't come with LSD
@@0hjaa3.06 the 940/960 from -92 came with diff called "1041" a.k.a. "slungdiff" in swedish. it locks up both tires but only up to about 40-60 km/h, if you tweak it a little you can get it to lock up to 80 km/h but it becomes quite unpredictable then. Theres also the "1031" diff which comes both with and without LSD, but the LSD is very uncommon.
This is late but... For changing headliner cover I highly recommend "Duplicolor vinyl and fabric coating!" For items that won't see a ton of wear it covers and looks great! I've used it to turn a blue interior black and it looks factory. Though it will not hold up to scratches on plastic, you just respray any wear spots and BAM! Perfect again.
Headunits, maybe it’s because i buy all my cars that are 8+ years old
All my cars are from the 90s so a modern radio is a must
Headunits are not underrated.
First things I do in my cars: Head Unit, Speakers, Cut off the mufflers.
@@MrNuclearGamers why the mufflers?

Class is in session folks 🙏
What wheels are on the "Green Miata?" Love that Round Eight Spoke look!
Klutch SL2! - www.fitmentindustries.com/brands/wheels/Klutch/SL2
The original 8 spoke is the Minilite, which was closely followed by Watanabe. Very old school classic, looks great on a bunch of older cars - from the 60's through the early 90's.
Hated the grey headliner in my last 2 cars. Wrapped them in black suede, looked much better.
I come to your channel for all the things I might overlook for my future builds, thank you for opening my eyes👍
A month ago I bought an EM1 Civic and have been doing exactly these mods: Steel brake lines, poly bushings, chassis stiffeners and some detailing. I'm really happy with it. 🥳
Y’all need WAY more subs.
One of the best mods I've done so far on my Challenger SRT8, is tires and lightweight racing wheels. Especially if your making a lot of power, because ur not winning if ur spinning
This is a good video by far brakes are the first thing you need to get right with
The new headliner is so worth it. I probably wouldn’t do it unless it’s actually damaged though. I got a new one for my 98 civic for 200$.
I've been making custom headliners for years. Roughly $100 depending what you want it to look like. I'm in Dayton Ohio
@@kurtl6126 Do you have a website? I need new headliner. Mine is so fucked up

I was thinking the same damn thing for my 03 accord sedan 5 speed😆
🐐
The video I didn't know I needed!
I just love the attitude this guy puts to the videos such a freaking legend!🔥
#1 mod imo? Long tube headers 😎Depends on the car obviously but god damn, worth every penny for me
Aye drifts n lifts! That was some solid gravy
i appreciated the last segment that was saved for suspension. my car desperately needs suspension work and i know i’ll love it more when it’s all done
Strut bars/ bracing by far one if the most underated mods.
Fender braces trunk braces and floor braces!
Haha that Runescape thing you said about construction :D was just making some maho tables when the construct cape picture came up on this video :D haha legendary man. Keep up the good work, amazing content!
Thank you for actually doing a video... Honest because we do have a lot of cars that's overlooked and modification that's overlooked, therefore we have a lot of sleepers out there with a lot of hidden potential...
Final drive ratio changing, swapping your differential gears to a higher ratio means higher acceleration at the cost of top speed, thing is unless you're doing max speed pulls or go on a track with significant straight aways you'll never actually reasonably hit your max speed so it's basically no trade-off for higher acceleration assuming your tires can get a grip.
Good insight, gracias! -Edgar
Worse gas mileage tho
First mod I got was a wink mirror. Love that thing, has saved me from getting hit more times than I can count.
Rx7 owner. Standalone!!! Cooling. Fueling. Bright Headlights. upgraded diff, based on the driving you want to do. A really nice feeling shifter.
So your the guy that blinds me at night on the twisties
@@burntchickennugget191 no 😔 I'm the guy who gets blinded and complains he doesn't have bright headlights 😅
Surpised by the headliner being mentioned. All black interior with a tan headliner and A pillars. Swapped them to black and makes a huge anesthetic improvement
Love the runescape construction ad in
Liked for the Old School RuneScape reference. I just bought my first tbow today!
That Gingium clip at the beginning!!
I’ve been watching you for months and I thought I was subscribed, glad I hit the button today
Okay okay! Digging the new intro!
Great video, love you guys!
Thank you fam!🤘
Ayeee i know the RX7 in the thumbnail its here in puerto rico🤙🏽, and loved the video!
The runescape references get me every time
The intro is a * masterpiece *
Oh snap!! You got me with that intro 😎
Great video bro
Sway bars, endlinks, and strut bars are musts. It's important to look deep into these as if you don't know what you are doing, you could end up wasting money and decrease your car's handling. Controlling camber is also heavily underrated,
Major respect for that runescape reference! Lmao
This new intro is sweeet, love it 💜
Engine and transmission mounts are super underrated! They make such a difference and gotta love more car noises!
Love the bill bye inspired intro! FI THE SCIENCE GUY
A sub. Completely changes the feel of the car and how you drive 😂
BROOOOOOOOOOO the osrs reference through me WAY off guard!. MADE MY DAY!
Instantly liked when you flexed your construction cape, respect.
Can y’all make a video on the 1980 Toyota Cressida? I recently found a really clean one on Facebook marketplace and I fell in love at first sight😍
tbh an aftermarket steering wheel can really increase the enjoyment of the drive especially if your stock wheel like the one on my 88 soarer z20 is HUGE (370mm), driving a bus aint fun yall ahaha. my steering wheel now is only a few cm smaller (350mm) but the difference in driving enjoyment is big for me!
I added Front and Rear LSD as well as stainless steel brake lines and clutch line.
Sick! Time to ceramic coat my brake pads and rotors 👌
Love the runescape references, I've played since I was 12 and I'm now getting ready to turn 26 (rs2->osrs). Also getting ready to redo the interior of my FD after I finish this custom roll cage. Using a big roll of universal carpet to keep the cost down vs oem replacement.
Every time I see you guys upload I think of Taco Bell
Ding dong
😆 Please don’t, I also work Part-Time there. Haha
Best miata mod. Lightweight flywheel and Konig Dial ins 👌
Best interior mods ⚡🎆
Break lines are very underrated
And some proper higher temp boiling point brake fluid ;)
First "mods" Dash cam. Dash cover. Under coating if you live in the salt belt.
Too funny, but yeah a dash cam because of all the idiots out there that aren't drivers but continue to get behind the wheel! I still have to install my dashcam
The brake line thing really rings true. I had stainless braided on the sedan in my profile pic. Felt great and had full confidence in my non abs system. It got smashed amd i havent upgraded the lines on my new one with abs and i dont like the feel at all
Under hood and shifter base bushings are the number 1 for me. Your always gonna be shifting so having it feel tight and mechanical really helps
If you're ever in Phoenix, I'll let you drive my late-year refresh 1992 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo AWD. Thank you for constantly mentioning them without non-stop bashing it.
ayyyyeeeeeeeee drifts n lifts made the cut 😫😫🥰
So you want a Mazda 929 really sounds like a great video
Everything on the suspension of my 2002 Mazda Protege is new not just coilovers. Control arms, sway bar links, bushings, pads, rotors, brake lines, wheel hubs, wheel bearings, inner and outer tie rods, replace the rear drums with rear discs, new calipers, e-brake lines, wheels, & tires. The only thing missing it a stiffer sway bar (anti-roll bar).
Driveshaft for sure, threw a lightweight driveshaft on my z32, man did that thing feel insane afterwards. If you want an early on, easy mod that doesn't cost absurd amounts trust me and get yourself a nice driveshaft.
I plan on doing all of these to my project car except the headliner
I used to work in the wooden yacht building buissines for a while. I've often wondered why there wasn't more car guys using boat building products.
That was some solid advice. Any other parts/materials you recommend?
Aye my boy drifts and lifts getting his Volvo show in a clip.
As soon as i saw that Red Rx7 FD with the RE-Amemiya AW7 in the thumbnail, i knew that was @rmsrbn Ruben's car. 🇵🇷🔥
Exacto
Love the intro music, gives real beatnuts energy. Love the pants too Alex
Look up Jarassik 5 - what's golden
Strut tower bars are very underrated.
Short throw shifter 👌👌 I stand by it
Steel brake lines are the first thing i do to all my bikes.
When i bought my brand new American Racing 20”s the first thing i did was ceramic coat all of them, all i ever have to do is rinse them off, definitely recommend.
Bushings and uping the swaybars.
The video we wanted but didn’t even know we wanted
Ignition key swap, suspension delete, convert to other-hand drive, inverted controls, tire delete. There. Top five.
Honorable mention: installing turn signals on a BMW
Engine mounts stopped my 3rd gear grind. The old ones looked better than half-life. That was in an NB Miata. Engine mounts also helped the already phenomenal cornering, too. Very noticeable and the old mounts were hardly worn out and replaced with OEM mounts.
i have a honda crz. yes... small car ...small engine but a verry nice car. i wach allmost all of your clips....and I learned a lot. i like to see a clip about this car. i start tuning on it... and first things are coilovers polybushes bigger brakes and race brake lines...antiroll bar. next are the wheels... and it is so complex to choose the wheels...
Driver makes the biggest difference for sure. Wheels tires and suspension first for me. Then cai and back half of exhaust. I always leave the factory resonator in place.
Love your videos bro ! 👍😎
Yeah, I love the 3000GT VR4 too. There are 3 of them here in Apollo beach.
Had a broken rear sway bar in my Miata. After I replaced the sway bar it feels a lot better. Turns better and doesn’t kick the rear end out
Where did you source the boat trim from? That sounds awesome, but I cant find it.
Loving that introo
