They are under the same agency as Mamamoo. So they’re def gonna be compared. Especially since MMM set the bar so high for kpop “idols”, the public is gonna expect a lot from them. MMM’s success is no small feat! They literally worked their asses off from the bottom to the top and never gave up, even when people criticized them for their looks.

Im so glad Solar finally getting to show herself more. She been my Bias since day1. Her vocals shocked me. Now seeing the show, how hard she goes on herself, the hardest worker in the group. Breaks my heart

I agree. I don't appreciate the fact that everyone else evaluating them refused to give it to them straight. I know it seems harsh as everyone on the show pointed out, but internet trolls are really ruthless. They're gonna get trolled if they are perceived as less than mamamoo especially because they're a girl group. TXT is a very talented group but they still get trolled and shit on on the internet because they're a boy group and their company seniors happen to be bts....

Mamamoo literally built and saved RBW from bankruptcy. Imagine they had to be hands on in EVERYTHING (vocals, dance, rap, makeup and even sharing small dormitories full of cockroaches) when they were trainees. You can NEVER compare them to RBW's future idols 'cause these trainees are practically spoon-fed by Mamamoo's standard. They don't need to go all those extra hardships that Mamamoo has gone through, and they just have to focus on training their skills to debut. It's like how Bigbang and 2ne1 literally saved YG. It's like how BTS built Bighit from the ground to a giant company. If it weren't for Mamamoo, RBW most probably gave up.

I do agree with what they said that once they debut it cannot be help that they will be label by the gen public as 2nd mamamoo since they are on the same company and the expectation on them is so high because mamamoo set the standard for RBW. So in order for them to rise and proved themselves, Solar and the rest or RBW leaders needs to be strict on them and they also need to find and established their color and trademark. But for me I think TXT is from the beginning different from BTS because their concept is teen fantasy bright but despite going dark with puma they still kept the teen fantasy vibe in their mv so I really didn't get why they are compared to BTS because BTS started much on strong charismatic hiphop vibe. Although I can see that the expectation from them is high but the moment they debut they actually surpass the expectation. But on Purple Kiss right now Solar is right there are many gg that actually has the same type-issh concept with them like Itzy and Rocket Punch I guess in terms of color and vibe.. so its harder to established their color and image
