I am from North East and let me tell you, what this is guy is doing is a miracle. Tribal states have no idea of business and the best they can think of is becoming a farmer or just keep preparing for a gov job. Utna hi duniya dekha hai unhone. Most don't even have the concept of india, how many states the country has, Delhi kaha hai, kaisa hai and all that .. they just want to live peacefully with nature and their community. I am sure this guy had to fight so much to prove his worth. No one to understand him or encourage him. Isliye NE se itne kam log business start kar pate hai. I am also starting something of my own and I have not told my family about it. Samajh nahi paenge, compare karenge, discourage karenge. Unko bas itna malum hai ki main independent hu. Toh zyada nahi puchte. But I also have a problem of opening up to people in general for what he is going through. Sharks should not judge someone who has no family support to start a business. They SHOULD HAVE GUIDED HIM, not judged him.
Sometimes I feel this is not Shark Tank but an Indian daily soap opera. Western Shark Tank show judges would not have asked all these unnecessary personal life questions. Btw good luck to you on your business endeavours!

I am aware that these pitches take longer than the edited version shown here, but the audacity these sharks have to judge that founder for his personal life challenges is really uncalled for. Why judge him without knowing enough background? He is there for guidance on his business, he has very clear boundaries about his personal life, he himself acknowledged that he hasn't burnt any bridges permanently, he just wanted to stay focused for sometime on what he believes in as a useful product for the public. The level of entitlement people have over others lives is appalling, I didn't expect such low boundaries from the so called sharks. Dear Ha Tada, Your product is amazing! Sorry but sharks have no business giving him so much gyaan on family/personal life. How do they know exactly what kind of a household he was growing up in? Sharks of the so-called fish tanks seem to be completely unaware of the terms toxic household and toxic families. Not all parents are understanding, supportive and co-operative. No, purity of petrol is the problem, not the quantity. It is extremely rare to find a petrol pump that is fooling you in quantity. They fool you in quality (less petrol + impurities = same quantity but less quality).
Its not a big problem...it was considerable for 2 wheelers but nowadays all two wheelers and 4 wheelers have a fuel meter which shows the quantity of petrol at your instrument cluster

Sharks have no right to judge someone on the basis of their personal life. They should see the product,analyse and give offers on product capabilities, its should not depend on Founders family background or relationship.

There was clearly a language barrier between the sharks and the pitcher. He couldn't explain himself properly. Moreover he initially thought the sharks would embrace his heroism for achieving so much by being away from family.
My brother and I made a product like this in 2012. We did it purely as a fun project but we ended up installing it on my motorcycle. May be we should've made it a product back then..

Well, sharks missed the point that parents arent always supportive. I set up my business with my father's full support, with minimal investment. But, circumstances came where I couldnt launch business the way I projected. Plus, I have been of age where I was to get married. Suddenly Since last 5 years, my dad started forcing me to practice Law. 😢 now, it's so difficult to live with him and realise my dream.
