wow I am so glad the consumer version has less cords. you have 4 cords to plug in like the power cord for the oculus and then a power cord for the camera, USB and HDMI

Problems: when it comes to the software it downloads different files, i dont get the utility i only get "OculusDebugTool" someone help.
How do i fix the HDMI? On my graphic card i just have one HDMI, and that one is to my monitor nr 1. The second monitor is on DVI. Do i need to take out monitor nr 1 whole time? :/ I´m thinking of buying DK2 because i drive lots of ETS2.

Im using a laptop gamer with a nvidia gtx 970M, 16GB Ram, i7-5700 and windows 10 from MSI! Unfortunately i received this error: "HMD powered off, check HDMI connection"! I've already installed all software required! Do you know how to fix it...? Thanks...

Use oculus home and use a handcontroller. This is the old version. You cant configure everything in oculus home, so it will give you an error but just ignore the error.

yeah, this was an old dev kit, it hadn't come out with controllers yet. I did however set up a leap motion wireless hand sensor though, but it was limited on what games it was compatible with. It's been so long since I've messed with the oculus, i need to pop it out of the box again!
