A live action Darkseid movie involving his ruthless pursuit as well as his obsession with the anti life equation would be very interesting! Perhaps similar to Darth Vader pursuing luke in the empire strikes back or Emperor Palpatine pursuing his plans of galactic domination in the prequels? I seriously can't wait to see that in live action

The sound editing in this video was super distracting. I usually am not actively watching the screen while I play these videos, so the constant sound effects overlapping with the narration was confusing and weird.
I don’t see “V for Vendetta” as a supervillain movie, but a superhero movie. Because clearly, the true villains in this movie are the Nazis who control the government and V is merely a freedom fighter.
Yeah, V is more an antihero along the lines of Punisher with a Phantom of the Opera visual gimmick. With a bit of Riddler for the way he talks.

We still need a Doctor Doom movie. That seems like the only way to portray him right. Instead of making him a side character that becomes evil in one movie. I'm praying The MCU does that before they put him in a fantastic four movie.
The way the High Evolutionary was portrayed made him one of the most vile villains ever the actor made you want to do something to the character. A movie about him with the same actor would definitely be worth watching

I know I’m in the minority, but I found nothing likable about Joker. I went in with an open mind, but I never once thought “oh man, I can’t wait for when he turns into the Joker”……I never felt sorry for Fleck, nor was cheering for his inevitable turn into Joker. And the worst offense: They made his laugh a medical condition?!? Joker’s laugh is iconic in that it’s like he’s always finding something funny - not that it’s just an uncontrollable condition.
I’m open for a discussion: tell me WHY you think Joker is a good/great movie. I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn’t.

Everyone is allowed an opinion without being called a "problem". Personally I also wasn't a big fan of this movie, I feel it leaned too much into making him a sympathetic character and for me personally that's not what the joker is. For me if this was just a psychological story it would be better but with the joker name attached to it just doesn't do it for me
Avengers Infinity War really should be on that list. I get it is supposed to be about the Avengers but let's face it that is Thanos's movie

Brightburn was a amazing movie it could have started it's own little movie universe especially with the other powerful people being teased at the end. It's way way better than the credit it got.

THE Suicide Squad is my favourite film from 2021. It is funny, action-packed, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and lives up to its name with the unexpected deaths from villains on both sides. I would love there to be another installment by James Gunn.
Vincent D'Onofrio"s Kingpin story was masterfully told during Netflix's Daredevil run, but it would've been even better as a movie -- show more of his rise to infamy.

You missed one absolute classic. Hannibal Lecter. Fiction has a love affair with 'the Evil Genius.' Mostly, that's an oxymoron. If you're a genius, you don't need to lie cheat & steal. All the Bond movie villains fall over this way. But Hannibal doesn't. Hannibal went through a trauma in his childhood that changed him completely, and once you know about it, all that follows makes perfect sense. Hannibal is a genius, but he's a very broken and twisted genius.

McAvoy's strongest form in Split is actually called The Hoarde, not beast.
Chronicle is criminally underappreciated these days after the controversial things happening around people involved with it. Still gut-wrenching (pun intended). Though not a supervillain, other villain movies I can think of with really irredeemable protagonists who are the antagonist include Brighton Rock, There Will Be Blood, Maniac, No Country For Old Men (I consider Antoine Sigur the protagonist given that he has the most screen time), Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Benny's Video, and Nightmare Alley. There are semi-redeemable examples, some of which feel like a cop out to the brutality of the darker nature of what the film is billed as, those include cop-out ones I speak of are mostly Disney films like the Malificent films or even the second half of Cruella. Ones that have more complex protagonists that are still antagonists but with some humane and redeemable values include Nitram, After School, American Psycho, My Friend Dahmer, and The Player

Don't sit there and tell me that the audiences didn't leave ROOTING for Actor Heath Ledger's Joker from that movie.. yes I know the title was about the batman, but Heath Ledgers fantastic performance of the joker, ( and add in the extra support of the actor Aaron Eckhart that played 2 face; batman ( at least in my eyes ) all but became a first string supporting character. And in Joker.. the laugh was a "Medical condition?? that's downright DUMB!

As a fan of X-Men, Hollywood never gets Magneto right in films. Michael Fassbender is way too Irish to play a Polish-German guy. Also, he looks more like Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

My all-time favorite villain that took a different turn from the comics was Heath Ledger & Joaquin Phoenix's Jokers. An argument could be made for Empire Strikes Back. The entire OT is basically the redemption of Anakin Skywalker. The prequels were the fall of Anakin and the sequels just sucked.

I didn't care too much for Suicide Squad 2021. Because of John " toilet seat" Cena. Joker has always been my favorite villian. Jack, Joaquin, Jared, Ceasar, and the voice talent of Mark Hamill. The Joker needs his own franchise.

no, not JOKER - way overrated; not particularly credible even for a comic book. Rather obvious cash-in. GOLDFINGER - enough about him and his identity to count as a supervillain movie. Some DRACULAs? Can't really count any Fu Manchus. SHE (Helen Gargan or Ursula Andress). Some versions of TREASURE ISLAND (1971?), and quite a few pirate movies (they were after killing people and taking their stuff, as were quite a few supposedly sympathetic protagonists in costume adventures).
