  • I was 5 in 1979 when my 18-year-old brother brought home the Highway to Hell album. I never forgot the title track, and in 1980 I heard their Back in Black album as well, realizing that the singer was different but not knowing why. At 18 in 1993, I got into classic rock radio and heard a lot of the 70s AC/DC there. I bought albums and rock encyclopedias. I found out when Bon Scott had passed and how. He may have been with the band for only 6 years, but he was pivotal in getting the band noticed in their formative years. To this day I'm still a fan of this band, and Brian really stepped up to the plate and helped the band to continue their success. To the band, I just want to say a big THANK YOU for including Bon Scott in the photos and the mural! I especially love the photo at 1:46 that lights up in color. Bon may not have had many years with the band, but he was a tremendous talent of his own who deserves to be recognized, honored, and remembered forever in AC/DC history.

  • This song and especially the video had me crying. There has been so much loss and turmoil in this band yet they keep on rockin'. They honor those who have fallen and have been lost to the mists of time. One day when all the members of AC/DC are gone I hope they play this song at the funeral. God bless you AC/DC.

    • I say they are for me, in the top Five of pure rock n roll. They are their brand of rock and no one has matched their sound. Just like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Hendrix…when you hear AC/DC you don’t mistake them for anyone else.

      @rajo741@rajo7412 жыл бұрын
    • @@rajo741 : Beatles = pop, AC/DC = Hard Rock, Hendrix = psychedelia; Led-Zep = eclectic, there is a lot of Celtic folk BTW... Actually, just listen to this new song as well as Riff-Raff, you'll think you listen to two different bands, now listen to Airbourne or even old LPs from Krokus, it sounds more like the Powerage era than actual AC/DC !!! The Vanda/Young production sounded very different of the Mutt Lange production which was very different to the actual one... George Martin totally changed the Beatles early sound when they turned to psychedelia, then their sound was totally changed by Phil Spector...

  • AC/DC gives a concert in a Museum, surrounded by universal masterpieces and evoking past times. I don't know if this video was planned from the beginning (I doubt it), but many fans had already edited something similar. The song is very sentimental and there would be no room for a different theme considering the longevity of the band. Either way, those of us who are real fans, and watch concerts or anything else the band brings to the table, enjoy it so much that whatever they do, it's a unique gift. AC/DC is the soundtrack to our lives, we can only be thankful, no one has ever endured so much on the hard rock road. GRACIAS!! THANK YOU!!

  • 57 now and loved AC/DC since I first heard back in black in 1980 as a kid in sydney - best rock band of all time - no doubt -- angus is still amazing after almost 50 years in the band - i can recognize an AC/DC song 3 seconds into the music - they are totally unique - keep rocking fellas, you're still young.
