"Mademoiselle Hyde" is to me the darkest song in the repertoire of Dimash Qudaibergen so far. And if you are not fully familiar with what the song is about, go check Lara Fabian's official MV, which comes across almost as "artistic horror movie"! By the way, the whole "Mademoiselle Zhivago" album is a fascinating piece of work.
Therefore, this video called for a dark vibe, at least darker than what I’ve shown in my works so far. Don't imagine anything extreme... but I feel I have to raise the flag for those who only enjoy the “emotional/dreamy” kind of stuff, so that you don’t watch unprepared. The rest of you will surely find this video pretty normal and will probably end up wondering… why the heck I didn’t skip this disclaimer 🤷‍♀️😅
Although I mainly used parts of various performances of "Mademoiselle Hyde", there are also bits of footage from other songs. And that’s because this time my focus was not on the different versions but on the story itself, which I tried to tell through the visuals. Consequently, the audio is taken entirely from the Arnau Tour Kiev concert, except from short parts where I used the studio version. In general I did my best to synch the audio with the various interpretations, so that the video looks consistent from start to finish.
