  • What if the Price was 12 million Dollars in backpay ,a Book deal a Movie deal possibly in lieu of some of the 12 Million , a McDavid and a King Leon Rookie card signed in pristine condition , Connor can request an exception to his contractual obligation to sign the card or he can provide one from that company if he chooses. Lets not forget a Team Position with a Stanley Cup Ring and the works. What if that was the price? Would King Leon still be willing to pitch in to the Kitty to make things happen? I mean we are just throwing darts at Unicorns here but would he be willing to ante up? Teams buy Players and Coaches and Facilities....and today they can buy a Pattern Recognition Savant/Consultant that can win them a Stanley Cup, if they are willing to pay for it. Something in there about Hall and Bedard and the Hawks getting unsolicited help in having a miracle resurgence and mixing things up in their Conference -- dont say you werent fore-warned.

    @benchow8851@benchow88517 ай бұрын
    • With that wisdom, you should be an NHL coach. Putting your two best offensive players on the penalty kill so they get worn out and asking them to block shots which increases their risk of getting hurt (instantly ending the teams cup run) sounds really smart. How about you get the PK unit and defenders to also "pay the price" because in order to win a cup EVERYONE must pay the price, not just Leon and Connor. I am pretty sure getting Leon and Connor to block shots on the PK is not the solution here.
