Being a WWE wrestler has a lot of perks, but it also has a lot of rules. In this video, I review an article sharing 30 rules WWE wrestlers need to follow and reveal if they are real or made up.
Check out the Men's Heath article here - www.menshealth.com/entertainm...

    • It's a very old-school rule that was used to get non-finishes back in the territory days. the NWA always had a rule about throwing your opponent over the top rope. WCW just kept it for a while It was also a rule in AWA. But that wasn’t a rule that existed in the WWF.

  • The rules about not wearing blue pants in NC on Wednesday and about not being able to wear high heels in the town of Carmel come from a silly tongue-in-cheek article from WWE themselves, written on their own website, called "Five WWE rules you didn’t know existed" from 2012. At the bottom of the article it says "NOTE: The preceding rules may or may not be totally legitimate." And was written by two writers who are known for writing silly articles that aren't necessarily factual or "storyline canon". So... Men's Health didn't do a great job of actually checking their sources.

Do you have to practice speaking on the mic? How nervous were you being on tough enough vs how nervous you were preforming in front of thousands in an arena. It’s something that I always think about when watching wrestling. Like ‘how are these wrestlers so comfortable being on camera in front of the world?’ I’m loving this channel! Although I watched casually as a kid during the Hogan and Macho Man era, I didn't really get into wrestling until the late 90s because of the N64 wrestling games. I kind of dwindled off of wrestling after Eddie Guerrero died and only came in here and there to see how it was going. CM Punk peaked my interest a little around the pipe bomb but they also had the muppets and crap on the show and I was wondering what the hell happened. This new era with HHH in charge looks promising but I'm still watching clips only and not the whole shows anymore.

WWE would have to approve that appearance. It's badly worded but based on the little description I am fairly sure it is that and not referring to a wrestlers physical image. Once upon a time WWF never mentioned WCW and vice versa but there were times when it couldn't be ignored like when Rick Flair brought the big gold belt to WWF or when Madusa threw the WWF women's title belt in the trash on Nitro but when the Attitude Era was in full swing all bets were off. But back in the territorial day cross promotions were commonplace. Bob Backlund wrestled both Harley Race & Rick Flair(NWA) and Nick Bockwinkle(AWA). Superstar Billy Graham wrestled Harley Race. Dusty Rhodes would wrestle in NY a lot. Also, I don't think the WWE thinks of TNA nor AEW as actual competition so there's probably that.
