In todays video i'm using the new Te Pari lamb chute. We think this is great for the first treatments of lambs as it holds the lambs perfectly still while we treat them.

ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on KZhead and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!

@@TheSheepGameWow! I only had one, but 2 weeks before I delivered nothing fit... I only gained 26 pounds, but I had an almost 10 pound baby! He never wore newborn clothes! Here's hoping for a wonderful birth and a happy and healthy baby and mum! 💜💜💜💜💜💜

That lamb rollercoaster is worth every cent! All job tasks done with them so much more accurate..yup and the lamb relaxed. Lizzy's Mom is the BEST!!! Love your new/old vehicle! I got to see the "rollercoaster" in action at the Te Pari stand at a farm show in Tulare, California. That's also where I got to meet Graeme Parker, the Hoof GP. He got a kick out of me wearing a Sheep Game shirt. He tried to call Cammy who unfortunately didn't pick up. The equipment was fascinating, even with teddy bears going down the chute instead of lambs. 🎢 🐑👎 🐻👍 😁

I am pretty convinced that I could watch lambs going down that chute for HOURS and be completely transfixed. They look SO ADORABLE with their legs in the air like that. Their little FACES. Gaaaaaaah I love it so much!!!!

That Vitara will never be that clean again😂. Suzuki’s are great reliable cars. Love that lamb run especially the way it drops them perfectly on their feet.

Lizzie is one hell of a strong woman and is an inspiration to what a woman can do. As for buying your new car, sod what people say. You work hard and make these videos for us to watch and enjoy. The equipment that is available to sheep farmers now a days is amazing. The lamb table/chute is great!! Wish I had some of the equipment that is available today back when I was sheep farming. Everybody is looking great. Sweet ride. All the best from Alberta 🇨🇦
That control tray looks like the best thing since sliced bread for working lambs! It gives you perfect control and makes every thing safer for all involved. The lambs seem to treat it is a novel experience rather than a bad time, once they're on it.
Yeah it seems to support them in a way which just keeps them still! 😁
The docking cradle as it's known has been around for 25plus years,another New Zealand invention,along with his Te Pari yarding system. Now if Cammy was a proper Shepherd he would cut the tail off,skin it and throw on a hot plate along with some testicle, absolutely delicious. Been working with sheep in NZ for 50 odd years.
