I bought a Scrub Daddy, but haven’t used him yet. I love the microfiber cloths and fold them and wipe the way you do. So-even old dogs learn new tricks, after all.

Thank you for helping this sweet lady, she needs the help. People just don't know what it's like once you have health issues and things have gotten to a point where you can't do it and still do life. The fresh reset is all she needs and then she can start her life over again. Prayers.

  • My sister is a single mom. She moved and wasn’t able to fully unpack and move into her home due to lack of time. I flew to her new house and not only deep cleaned every corner, I made sure she had all of the utensils, food, and supplies she needed to have all of the basics covered. I even did laundry, folded it all, took the car to get fully cleaned inside and out, and disinfected all the baby toys and bottles. She was so grateful but it also made me happy to know she was good! I love cleaning and I love these videos.

  • I wish I’d found you earlier in my life Auri! I struggle with mental health issues and my flat got like this last year. I was given this flat when I left an abusive relationship and had to spend some time in a womens centre. I live alone, I couldn’t make friends because I could not invite them in. I was alone and isolated, and sometimes even suicidal. Eventually my family staged an intervention and helped me to clean. I still struggle though - I realised through watching your videos, it’s because I’m so mean to myself when there is a mess, so instead of cleaning I end up making more mess. The way you say the mess is “amazing” fills me with hope and your compassion is inspiring. I am now not so scared of picking up the rubbish - now I call it “trashes” and smile a little to myself. Thank you for everything you do, for the people you clean did but also for us as viewers! ❤

    • Yes, I think us judging ourselves and being mean is so destructive, instead of being "Well done! You cleaned that part of the home! You picked up those "trashes". Great! 💖". It's important not to be so hard on ourselves. I usually put on some good music, or some audiobooks, and then I get so into the music, or the book, that I forget that I'm cleaning, and suddenly I have cleaned a lot more than I thought I were able to do. Auri is so inspiring. I always feel like cleaning after watching one of her videos! Happy to hear that your family helped you out! Hope you will feel better soon!

  • My mother was depressed most of the time during my childhood, but she always kept the house clean, cooked food and never projected her sadness or anger towards us, she was always polite and gentle with us. Now I understand, especially how strong she was,I am a mother of two and now I know it's so difficult without depression also, she did all that with her state and even more better than me. This year on mother's Day I thanked her and was so proud and grateful of her that she was strong for us in her tough time, I asked what can I do for her reply will stay with me always, She said " I don't need anything, I want u to be happy and strong in your life and I want only one thing from u and that is the care, love and kindness I gave to u, I want u to pass on that to my grandchildren and to all the people around u she said spread love, care and kindness." Her words touched my soul.I am blessed to have her in my life and my children's life.

  • For me, the feeling of loneliness is what dominates these videos, not the lack of cleanliness . These people live in a society, and yet they reach this state, without family, friends, or neighbors but you go out of your way to help and it's a great job what you do. As for the viewers, I know that often people care about their own affairs and get busy with life, but try to check on your family and friends. Try to get to know your neighbors and co-workers closely. Don't let the people in your circle fall to this depth without anyone seeing or helping them.

    • @@13101s Same here. After years I realised that my cleaning related difficulties resultes from the abusive remarks of my mother in the childhood, when my work was never enough and even when I tried so hard, home was never perfectly cleaned for her. She is still doing these hurting comments and I am always afraid when she is about to visit me... but happily I distanced from her a lot, moved 200 km far away, so that her visits are not frequent. I know it is not easy, but really you don't have to listen these abusive opinions in your own house, especially that it comes from your quests - their goal should be to just meet you, spend the time together, not checking on cleanliness of your appartement, please remember it and be strong. For many of us watching, it's shocking and hard to understand how someone can let it get so bad. Even those of us who have had depression, who understand a little bit, many of us haven't been so far gone as to live in such conditions. • I’m surprised you didn’t run out of that place when you saw the kitchen!! Eva doesn’t realize how bad her house is because she’s used to it. I think she expected a miracle for the first day. You did an awesome job in the kitchen. I don’t see how she could even make her coffee etc. she must be on lots of meds that slow her thinking and affect her movements. I’m surprised the kitchen was so clean in one day!! Makes me laugh how nice you describe the trashed and rotting food. I am old and have problems with moving fast because of a back surgery that didn’t help and bad knees from arthritis etc. so I will use a kitchen chair to sit and clean when I can’t stand very long but I still take trash out by myself to the trash cans outside and drive myself to the stores and Dr appointments and physical therapy. If there’s a will to keep the house clean you can do it! Eva needs to buy paper products for eating and plastic cups for drinking. She can also hang a trash bag on a cabinet knob and then transfer that trash to a trash can. There are so many ways to help yourself even if there’s a disability. Now that her house will be clean maybe her church members could help check on her once a week to help keep it that way.

  • Hi Auri, I just want to share my story because I feel a lot better thanks to you. I have a very sweet mom amazing mom but she is not good at cleaning and never learned it and has difficulties throwing anything. I try to learn it to them but its difficult, she does not see the house is too full, dusty and mixes cat hygiene with humans... I feel finally she and my dad accepted a cleaner which I picked to help them too since it is too overwelhming for me to do all alone. Everytime I come I do something small. This weekend I cleaned the doors upstairs and donate my old clothes and dusted some shelves. Next time I will go to kitchen and check for more expired food and try to organise a part. Your videos make me realise it can better over time and now I hope i will see a small change in better for future times :).

  • My exhusband just died. I had to clean his house. It wasn't as bad as this one, but many times, I was really overhelmed. Some rotten food, some trash, some bloody vomit, and many-many memories. When we was married, he abused me many times, so it was extremely hard for me. But I did it. I'am strong enough now. I thought about Aurikatarina's attitude and just did it, and it's almost finished now. So Aurikatarina, you were not here, but you helped me a lot.

It seem to just pull the stain right out and you can literally see the colour from the stain floating in the window cleaner. Worked wonders for me!! Not sure if it would work here but you never know!!
