I have the orange color in this.. turn the top vent 180* so that it won't flop open everytime u open th lid also I used a small grate and a 9" pizza stone for indirect smoaking just incase that 40 dollar smak setup isn't back instock ... anywhoo.. wish it was as big as my akorn jr. But still a nice lill cooker.. GR8 review and even better steak.. thanks again for ur video.
Thanks for Watching Peter!
Hey where did you find that 9” deflector? Also does it fit nicely?
@NichollBros I got it on Amazon awhile back for under 20 bucks it fits in there snug but I rigged up a grate to fit in there and it works but u might figure a better way to set it up. It's just such a tiny cooker anyhow good luck
Thanks for the review. Looks like a well designed grill. Great for transporting. I think at 13" I might struggle with more than steak and veggies for 2 people though.
Thanks for Watching Michael! Appreciate the feedback
What a neat little grill. Another great review. Thanks Tom
Thank you for watching!
Nice little unit Tom and as always that chuck eye looked delicious!!!
Thanks Robert!
Nice cooker. Nice cook. Someday I might join the kamado club. I'm still a charcoal rookie only been using charcoal since this past summer.
Thanks for Watching! Enjoy!
Nice little grill Tom! Great looking chuck eye!
Thanks for Watching!
I've had the orange one for a year and a half. I can't argue with the price. I also got mine with a discount code. The big surprise was they didn't charge for shipping and didn't charge any tax. (they are in Canada) I also have that indirect heat deflector. The ceramic stone in that is very small. One thing I don't understand is the size. The grill grate is less than 11", not much real estate there. I wish they made it a little bigger to mimic other brands. Maybe it's to keep parts and accessories proprietary and from being mass copied by the Chinese? In any case, I'm happy with it and the price. I got it to dip my toe into the ceramic grill market before committing more on a larger version. It has served its purpose.
Thanks for Watching Ted! I was also interested in the indirect setup but apparently it’s being re designed and won’t be available for a couple of months
Looks heavy duty
Thanks for Watching!
Very ice Tom! What are your first impressions versus the Akorn Jr.?
Thanks for Watching! Time will tell….
Very nice kamado,
Thanks Eric!
Which one would you buy London sunshine 13 or chargriller akorn jr.
Thanks for Watching Barry! Been waiting for the question….. Akorn Jr
@@TomHorsmanAmateurBBQ because of size? Something els
@barrywilliams606 mainly size and weight, but it is a true Kamado in the sense that it’s ceramic
Looks like a really good price for a ceramic komado.
Thanks for watching! Yes it is..
Looks a lot like my Big Green Egg Mini, but much less expensive.
Thanks for Watching Doug! Thats what I thought….
