See this actually feels like those classic teen mystery dramas. Like it actually has the charisma and character and tone of the original series while not falling into old ploys and still keeping it modern. This was a perfect casting if you ask me the girls feel like friends

i'm sorry, i don't see that way.. I'm a really big fan of the original series, like.. I remember watching it on Freeform since when it was ABC Family haha, and i'm such a big fan of the actresses, specially Sasha.. By saying that, i didn't like the new one actually hahaha, i think The Perfectionists had so much more potencial and so much more to do with the original one. This "Original sin" has a lot more of Riverdale's personallity and vibe than PLL, i was so sad when i watched the whole thing.. It's like they are trying to give horror vibes, but it's kinda corny for me.. Again, just my opinion that i would like to share with anyone about it.

@@esantosoficial17 As someone who read the books and also watched the OG on ABC Family growing up, Original Sin is still great (maybe even better). The OG is excellent b/c of how ridiculous it was, not b/c of quality storytelling or acting.

Loved Original Sin…so I’m very excited about this. I think the reason this spinoff succeeded where Ravenswood & Perfectionists didn’t is that the other two tried to tie themselves to the original show by including actors from it, whereas here, you just got nods and Easter Eggs to the original. Dr. Sullivan wasn’t one of the major characters so..this still works.The standalone aspect along with adding elements of slasher horror films really gave this a different vibe while honoring what came before!
noone really cared about ravenwood.perfectionists pissed off people by spliting up emison due to havng Sasha Pieterse but not shay mitchell.Perfectionists also was trying to copy pll.original sin worked due to being it own thing in pll universe.it wasn;t a attempt to copy pll unlike perfectionists.
Carla Grunwald is apparently going to make an appearance this season at some point too
@@apixieswhisper I actually hadn’t heard that but I like it. Mrs. Grunwald was so creepy and again would just be a nice nod for fans. I think as long as we don’t see one of the 6 main girls (As great and fun as it would be if we did)we have a better chance of the show continuing for awhile.

AND this show’s gotta whole new vibe & network. It’s 80s, it’s feeds the people’s nostalgia. It gives vibes of a hot, 80s slasher while still appropriate and youthful. The aesthetic alone is chef’s kiss & makes me wanna grab a paper bag full of popcorn. Not to mention they have Bailee Madison and they look like BRATZ. It’s just GIVING !

I really like the summer school concept. Obviously these types of shows can’t be completely realistic but they never address school or their grades! Like how does anyone graduate if they’re never in school??

SPOILERS for Pretty Little Liars if you haven't seen it. Dr. Sullivan the therapist in the beginning of the trailer was the therapist the girls: Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hannah's parents sent them to see in season 2. The Doctor was then threatened by Mona when she was A and had to go into hiding.
I was so sad when the S1 finale trailer said series finale. Glad they actually decided to renew this one.

Oh thank the stars they’re giving this a season 2. I hate the current trend of cancelling shows that don’t do perfect in their first season. Imagine if they did that in the 90s, teen dramas would basically be nonexistent 😂

In the first season she said that Ezra and aria told her that she could visit the baby or something. Maybe she was going to do it and A went after her

What a great news that this show is coming back! I thought it was definitely cancelled! Even though i saw it did not have all great reviews I enjoyed the show. Mainly because it was much more horrorish then the original series and also because it had many references to other movies. I hope the new season will keep the same level of production.
