The whole scene was a showcase of just how out of his league she was. Saying that she "acknowledged" his strength is like a full grown adult telling a toddler that they're strong. It's condescending at best. And this is coming from someone's who's made several passive aggressive backhanded compliments. There's literally a trope for this type of scenario. It's called condescending compassion.

Because Hoyoverse does literally everything to make MC look as bad as possible in comparison to the characters they want to sell us. It's all marketing and $$$.
The boss itself looks easy but the cutscene makes traveller look so weak
Traveller was the only one to break out of that AOE attack, plus we pretty much carried the 4 v 1 here, so I don't really agree, it basically made us looks stronger then 3 characters combined, but weaker then a very powerful harbinger... Nr 4, when just a few areas before we were struggling against the 11th and 8th, pretty sure its fine for us to lose to the 4th here and its not really some character assassination, we don't even have our full power back yet.

No real need to fight the fetui even, we keep giving them the gnosis and working with them like chide or arlechinno. and if we are going to face some powerful beings, it's going to be likely with support from archons or neuv or other powerful beings, it's been like that with EI, scaramuche, the whale. Any actual powerful being takes more then just us. Do people seriously forget how easily we got wrecked by the unknown god, at full power, with BOTH twins??? They took us out in seconds. We were never some super overpowered character who can save the world by themselves. This isn't that sorta story, where the MC just has to punch harder and can win all the fights by themselves.

Some people really just don’t read, saying he beat raiden in a fight where we never fought her seriously. It was literally a clash of ideals and the premise to win the fight is to shake her will. Traveler struggled to beat scara a fake god with the help of nahida and sumero people. So he is to be expected to lose to arle but didn’t expect him to get folded like this😂

And do remember that Traveler lost against the Scaramouche god-mecha suit 168 times and needed Nahida's machine learning to beat Scaramouche. Traveler doesn't seem to practice their elemental abilities and just use it in a basic form. No wonder Traveler in gameplay is quite weak. His hydro element would only shoot water pellets at Arlecchino. Best he could was get her wet or use it as a distraction or blind her line of vision.
After seeing this, I Can confirm that the Traveler is definitely not ready to face against Capitano… yet

@@meloo Also, Aether drew power from the Resistance during the fight with Raiden, so he had a buff in power at the time. Most of the time he's fought other bossess, he's had help in some form. It was only when they fought Childe and Signora that they had no backup, so I'd say they're around that level of strength

Lets just say, hypothetically, that you were a traveler from another world, and you have access to 5 elements that you can switch between at anytime or use them together, you are trying to prevent your friends from getting murdered by the 4th most powerful Harbinger, and not only do you whip out the Dull Blade, but not once in the entire fight do you use any element in the fight whatsoever.

It's absolutely sad that Hoyo has made Traveller a joke. They canonically have control over 5 ELEMENTS now and they didn't even choose to use it? Childe's boss fight was the last time Traveller was really utilizing everything at their disposal.

@@yoav9383 Actually wisdom can be converted into power with the akasha even dreams actually can be converted into power with akasha, that's why Rukhadevata manage to clear most of the forbidden knowledge in the irminsul despite being on her own during khaenriah cataclysm unlike the first one when he has deshret's help, because Rukhadevata used the akasha to convert dreams and wisdom of sumeru into power to buff herself

I don't like how they portrayed traveller in this fight. He should have used all 5 of his elements to fight. Create winds using anemo, block attacks using geo constructs, dodge fast using electro etc. This would have annoyed arlecchino to make her unleash her transformation. It would be far more exciting to see the traveller putting up a good fight but gets defeated as arlecchino freezes him. Arlecchino put up a good fight against Crucabena even though she was weaker than her at that time. They should have done the same with traveller. His countless fighting experience should have made him much stronger.
He's not the fucking Avatar, he can't even switch elements without visiting a statue. Also all his elemental attacks suck, it would've made 0 difference.

@@Hanako-San100 Traveler only struggled with Childe because he only had 2 elements at his disposal back then and Childe's abyss powers caught him off-guard, but Childe would've been beaten if he didn't run away. Signora wasn't difficult at all, traveler wasn't even tired after the fight.
Traveler's inconsistent power levels strikes again. A person who can wield 5 elements, a person who has (at this point) incredible amounts of experience going up against dead Gods, fake Gods, current Gods, Dragons, and creatures from beyond this world, can't even land a scratch against the 4th harbinger.
Yes because in all other cases, we had help. We had help against Dvalin, against Osial, we actually managed to beat Signora and Childe fair and square, but needed Nahida's help for Scaramouche. 4th Harbinger is just beneath Archon-level, and I don't think it's fair to say Traveler is quite Archon-level yet.

@@EnderBroadcast Fighting alongside Nahida should've given traveler a huge combat boost for everything else tbh. Though Nahida didn't help in combat, she basically gave traveler combat experience from multiple timelines in just one go. That's like decades worth of knowledge right there. Even if that knowledge is tailored to fight against Scara, surely traveler could've at least utilized some of their learnings there to atleast graze Arlechinno. Not being able to defeat the Knave is completely understandable, but not even landing a scratch is just straight up embarrasing.

Everyone calling Aether weak because he can't touch Arlecchino but the 4th of the harbingers outright said he was stronger than expected and didn't exactly call him pathetically weak. With 3 elements we could beat the 8th, La Signora but with 4 he struggled to bear the 6th, granted he had his god mech and a gnosis but we also had the Akasha on our side. The fact that there are still 2 elements to go (and clearly some hints at some other power we have to gain/collect) means honestly it makes a lot of sense that we're as strong as we are.

Aether in the last fight was caught of guard,he also recognized the crimson moon which might imply something, it could be what he had seen when he was sealed. And he never even used elemental power,seem like it just plot stuff that prevent us from beating Arlecchino and advertise her. To be honest,the fight would have been very different if we knew about her secret ability, by avoiding eye contact we would never get trap in that dimension,remember we lost a fight to scaramoche just because he made traveler smell his purple thing and Traveler did not know about it,so I would say it fair that we play dirty and beat Ei/Scara robot with the help of other.
He never uses elemental power for ex narhwal, snk and vs raiden too. Also he's a veteran in fighting and he should expect the enemy to have something strong against him.
about the plot problem I mentioned If Traveler had won,we wouldn't have known what happened to those who betrayed the House of the hearth,the players might think she actually kill them and not erased their memories , so best way is to to let her win and avoid some conflict with her personality and character traits .

Wow some people are so for lack of a better word; dull minded. The Traveler's defeat doesn't suprise me in the slightest, and it's not because they didn't use "elemental power". If you pay attention, obviously they are winded by the time they reach the cutscene. Remember: -Raiden was a battle of will. -And Scara had defeated the Traveler 200+ times until they were eventually defeated with the help of all of Sumeru and Nahdia. What I think is truly wild is it's evident Arlecchino wasn't even really trying, she was teaching everyine she was fighting a lesson.
Aether really be forgetting he has the elements huh. The last time bro actually did some cool attack with an element was back in Inazuma, bro was cooking with electro in the cutscenes.
The craziest thing is that the top 3 harbingers story wise are even stronger. I can’t really imagine how strong Capitano and Pierro are, and even more the higher gods (heavenly principles).

Its important to remember that the Unknown God sealed away all of Traveler's powers and the Traveler is slowly trying to restore their prime. Current Traveler is a very small fraction of full power and still put up a strong fight against #4, cannot wait to see Prime MC.
Despite he lost 168 times because he only used his physical strength to fight sacra with electro genosis and the whole giant robot in dream , he didn’t used any elemental since inazuma , after the loop finished , he managed to tank the whole electro beam attack with no difficultly ( he gained the experiment that he got from nahida’s ability) I just want to say Mihoyo tried to target the traveler get his ass beating to marketing others 5 stars at this point .

decenders has powers to rival the world, meanwhile traveler - i have 5 elements but im a physical main. seriously what is up with his recent cutscenes , after sumeru we have never seen the traveler do anything beside being the sideline guy waiting for others do do stuffs. fontain archon quest is a good example where he was basically not need what did he even do there that could not be done by others? Lawer - many better lawers available info gathering in prison - Wriot has better info than others primodial water leaks - Wriot and chrolde delayed while Neuvi came to the rescure , his only job was to baby sit furina. his contribution on 3.2 was just bring furina to court and act as a lawer which again can be done by others. even fighing the nazwal was part of Neuvi's job . traveller Did nothing in Fontain.
