I'm actually positively surprised by Hamiltons result. Thought he'd get between 5th and 7th. If he applies himself he could actually do well in real motorsport.
Him messing up Eau Rouge on the first lap show his lack of experience with the game but also showed how quickly he was able to adapt and move forward.

I've just found your channel after an absence from sim racing and you are really inspiring me to pick it back up again. I used to race at a good level in iRacing, having an iRating of close to 4k at one point and had a top 10 W.R on forma 2 or 3 think in S class round laguna seca in the Renault 5 GT Turbo before it was known to be fast. people that watch this channel can only dream of what you are achieving so enjoy every single moment, really savour it as one day soon you'll turn round and be late 40s 😆 and wonder where the time went. I used to think I'd never be good at this game. But let me tell you something. You're videos over the years have helped me improve to such a high degree. I dont think I'll be able to go pro but maybe one day but I have finally improved to a point where I'm getting more consistent wins and it seems I'm actually doing good enough. I used to always play with assists. Lucky for me.. not much anymore. As I said. Because your videos. Watching how you do races your layout and how you discuss each race has seriously improved my performance.

He had trouble beating Rosberg and Bottas. They’re good enough for F1. However, they are not special at all. Mercedes has just been so dominant the last years. We we’ll see how he turns out when the cars are more equivalent to each other
