JK has addressed the "JK did not like/hates Jimin" narrative before. He explained how he was young and really shy he does not know how to react to Jimin showing affection to him but on his interviews he had always choose Jimin for being the hyung he finds the easiest to talk to. He even said Jimin is the most charming and has the nicest personality out of them all. Him saying if he's a girl, he would date a guy like Jimin says a lot. In my personal opinion, 2018 is when JK comes really forward in showing how he likes and adored Jimin so much. This time he's not camera conscious or shy anymore. He is openly showing his affection. From then up until now, we see JK showing to the world how he would favor Jimin by choosing to always be together with him. It should be very obvious that jk has always been fond of jimin , because tbh I've never seen a duo who has similar interests, talents and perspectives like those two. And them being people who believes in destiny and such things, it must be awesome to meet someone whom you feel "I am you, you are me" with. How they want to define their relationship is upto them, but denying the fact that they are the closest and always have been is closing your eyes and saying it's dark. People forget that Jungkook was 14-18 in the earlier years of 2011-2016. Jimin may have understood his feelings first as he was older but Jungkook definitely wasn’t far behind, it just took him a bit longer to articulate it & understand his feelings but it was definitely always there.

Honestly after watching this video i gotta say some people are really messed up and miserable. Before this i had only seen edited videos which made me think Jk couldn’t stand Jimin back in the day. How miserable does someone have to be to sit down and edit videos tryx to push a certain narrative? Even right now so many people seem to believe that cuz of those edited videos and it really makes my heart ache because these guys love each other sooo much (the entire group) yet because of this "ships" they are causing unnecessary hate especially towards Jimin. There was a lot of cut up clips where people didn’t show the full thing. It’s sad. For example, that clip of jk saying he wouldn’t go with jimin on a beach date but would see his brother instead but seconds after he holds jimin’s hand as if to say “nothing against you/hope I didn’t hurt your feelings” but they cut it right before that part

Agreed. And that trust seems to have developed really quickly. Jimin moved to the dorms in May 2012. Jungkook went to LA for dance classes that July and fell in love with dance. According to what Jikook told us in a May 2016 vlive, when he got back to Korea (in August, I believe) and was thinking he wanted to quit Big Hit to focus solely on dance, he didn't talk with RM, Tae, or one of the other members. Instead, he already liked and trusted Jimin enough to choose him to confide in. And he trusted him enough to take Jimin's advice to stay and become part of BTS.
