I always wondered why people who live in the hills won't dig in. Like imagine when you are building your house, you first dig a 2000 square meters large cave, which will hold rooms that don't need sunlight like private tennis court, ball room, cinema, library and server room and after these are finished you build the outside part of the house, which will be like 1000 square meters that will contain all the living spaces, while entertainment is hidden deep underground. It greatly saves space and you will be able to practice grand piano without ever bothering your neighbors or spouse because ground absorbs the sound waves so well. You can also hold a private rave while your children sleep just a couple of meters away, they won't even notice the noise.

600 sq ft is 20'x30' the car lift alone is larger than that the garage looks to be 6000 sq ft to put it another way the RV they drive in is about 300 sq ft

@@perry92964 Any other basement doesn't require to be hidden behind a microwave though :p Any extra doors and entry/exit points will make it less secret lair and more just regular basement with a weird extra entrance.

@@perry92964 6:50 He did it elsewhere on a steeper incline so it is definitely possible. Just saying it's not the most practical entrance he's got. My comment was more hinting at the part where he has to squeeze through a microwave opening whereas gaming too much instead of hitting that gym in the other room can leave him a bit too big to fit through.

I've never been a fan of pool houses - all that money for something that barely gets used - but that would be perfect camouflage for the entrance to an underground bunker. The issue with ALL of these creations is resupply - neighbours won't look twice when they see you storing boxes of whatever in the pool house. Throw the odd loud pool party and they will be thrilled when they don't see or hear from you in days ;)

Why would you want these areas at work 😂 I go home to get away for my job, I work to live not live to work… Also these would cost so much money to do in the UK, just had existing porch/ hall refurbished and a new drive and it ended up costing like 50k
So 65k USD, and it was a nice but fairly basic brick drive (big soak aways, but no underground car storage or car lifts 🙄😂)
