  • Anyone else notice that these guys always find “perfectly ruined” projects to work on? That and nothing on the engine was repaired/re-surfaced?? Something isn’t adding up. That’s a LOT of work to be done on something abandoned since ‘66. I think there’s a lot there we’re not seeing, as well. That said, it’s still fascinating to watch them restore things.

It's fun watching these guys work, because a lot of interesting things are still being done (i.e. completely tearing apart, and re-assembling an engine)...but, every one of their "restoration" projects all seem to have the exact same amount of dirt on them, then only need certain, seemingly helf-*ss repairs, etc... Something else I've learned is that, in this part of the world (Indo-Chinese countries) there's a LOT of people playing games with KZhead videos that spans a lot of different topics, and industries. They all "create" problems...so, they can look like hero's providing a solution. Apparently, Biden, and the Democrats have taught them well. But, I digress.... 👍

    • @@gerardog2663 Yup...you'll notice that a LOT of the videos coming from this part of the world are a lot like this. Same, horrible acting, and dishonesty. But, at least with this, you're still seeing a lot of stuff done that is interesting. But, yes....the "acting" get's old.

  • nowhere this is a true abandoned find.... a very clean and neat engine bay and undercarriage... salt water spray and /or pain remover and leave exposed to tropical weather will make a good corrosion impression.

If this car was actually abandoned outside for decades there would be pitting, corrosion, animal nests and a lot of damage to the interior of the vehicle.
