At the end of the day NYC can afford to put more money into the mta but they take from it more often. We need to ask more about how funding should be moved around than just everyday people trying to save a few bucks. The people controlling the finances could do better.

NYC should have something like the DC Metro have.. DC Students can ride Metrorail & Metrobus for free, but you'll have to get an Student Metro Card from your School, or Online You don't have to pay to ride either
