  • As some other people mentioned the exact same campaign but by edge has better wrs to watch and some of the "unfinishable" maps have been finished, usually by ar or dragon Plus like you complained about on 13 he actually makes the finishes as the real starts instead of making it driveable.

    @awesometomxd@awesometomxd7 ай бұрын
    • I don't mind making impossible extremely difficult by small changes, a new hill ramp here, a stadium seating there. This block is level with the pool enabling you to climb out of the start pool. That's fine. Sticking a finish clearly in /above water flush with the ground next to it, instead of climbing out of the pool yourself? An odd choice. I probably would have a vertical start block and drop you in the pool and force you to climb out then ladder your way out up a few hillside blocks and a narrow ledge to get back on the track. And track 3 might spawn a steep narrow ramp around the side of the poolside decorations to get you into the track. But the core track remains unmodified. Have fun. Also good luck negotiating the RPG type decorations I use on these absurd tracks More reliable than Yeet paths. Which if you are a purist? Go ahead. Personally if I expect you to pull off yeets? I'd drop track blocks outside the stadium to reliably yeet you into the right 1/9th of the stadium. You will need to use skill instead of luck to control your own landing site.

He was driving an RB7 show-car at some kind of racing event and asked the team for permission to drive Spa in opposite direction. He definately shat his pants in Raidillon-Eau Rouge, cause it was even more nuts than the right order.

  • It's always nice to see Wirtuals skills in this game with all the tricks there are, but what's also impressive, at least for me, is the overview he has on the maps. Like the one with the "rainbow-boundaries". He goes up, then down again, then there, then there, and always knows where the next checkpoint is and which ones he needs, while i'm sitting here totally confused 😅 Sure, he played the maps a lot and i only saw them once or twice in his videos, but i still think that's impressive.

  • On the topic of react content: In the h3h3 case the judge added a footnote to her judgement stating that it was not a catch all for reaction content, as it differs on a case by case basis, and that watch party style content is not fair use under DMCA. H3H3 content wasn't really react content, but commentary I would say, and I think that's an important distinction. React content is someone watching something without knowing necessarily what it is, and just stating their opinions without transforming the meaning of the piece. They show the content in full, and only add their opinions. Commentary is when you take specific parts of a video and use them as examples in a critique or parody/satire of content. H3H3 used that guys video to mock his attempts being a pickup artist, and critique the entire idea of what he is doing. Anyone making videos where they watched the content beforehand, don't show the entire media, and change the meaning of the content through their commentary can be, but isn't necessarily, classified as fair use. When you specifically react to content you are usually adding relevant commentary or you are reacting to media that refers to you, which to some extent should always be ok. If someone makes a piece of content about you, you should always be able to react to it. Jacksfilms is transforming Sniperwolfs reactions by changing them into a game, and earlier when he was rating them, it was critique and commentary.

  • If you're on the fence on the whole react thing, you should watch DarkViper's series about react content and why it's not only bad for an individual who's video is getting stolen and reuploaded but also for the entire platform and all the original content on it. In very general terms, reactor doesn't just react to 1 video in their entire life. Even if they give credit and encourage their viewers to visit the creator they're stealing from, and even if that creator gets a little bit of audience from that, that's not where the interaction ends. Because the reactor will then go and react to another video, and then another, and then another. Taking potential viewers from all of those videos and giving some views to some of them. Not only that, they then upload all those stolen videos to their YT channels, accumulating an insane amount of high quality content that they didn't make and can post like 20 every single day. And all original creators then have to compete with those reactors, who can steal videos that take months to make and just reupload them to their channel. The algorithm will promote them, because they have all the quality and the quantity. Like imagine if there was a creator who can just make videos that would take others months to make in literal minutes, he would be insanely successful and impossible to compete with. And also you'll notice how reactor's viewership doesn't decrease from "giving views and subscribers". Even though if they were actually sending some of their audience away to the original creator every time, they would have to necessarily lose viewers, yet instead they gain. So they don't give away shit to the original creator, all the viewers come back to the stream immediately, at best that does nothing to promote the video in the algorithm, at worst it only hurts the creators because of the low watch time those viewers give.

  • with the reacting thing i feel like youtube should make a system for reacting to content where watching the reaction counts both as watching the reaction and as watching the original. And they should implement a system where you can repost someone's video. Cause currently a lot of these "reactors" are really just content curators, if youtube supported human-powered content curation more then this would be solved- even if the curators didn't get paid a huge number would do it for free

  • About reacting, what I don't like is all those reaction channels that do only this. The point of a reaction, in my opinion, is to have an occasional moment where one of your favorite internet person reacts to something you already saw. It makes no sense at all to watch someone completely random, doing this 24/7 because they saw it gives lot of views on some big streamers.
