I have a little cool thing for bedrock players. When making a boat, instead of craft a boat right after you craft a wooden shovel, use the shovel almost until breaking point so you get some use out of the shovel. Great video!

Unless I'm greatly mistaken (and I don't believe I am, as I've tested it thoroughly (unless they've changed it very recently)) but the Looting Sword must be in your main hand at the time of the mobs death. This is fine for things like a bow (which can be drawn and fired in the off hand) but not great for things like getting looting affect while using an axe (for example). If it is an item that cannot be thrown from the offhand, you can throw it from the main hand then switch to your sword before the mob dies... but the sword must still be in your main hand at that time.

I can remember having read about the Looting III only working with the sword in the mainhand. So to actually have effect you have to equip the bow on the offhand slot. That said, you can still shoot the bow normally if you do.

6:55 Hypothetically, if you want to make an industrial smelter in 1.17 that's fueled by lava, you can put a hopper under the cauldron. Dispenser puts lava in the bucket and drops it in cauldron, hopper picks and puts it furnace. Make a hopper line underneath to collect the items in a chest and a sorter for empty buckets to return the buckets to the dispensers.

Here's a tip for finding buried treasure: the buried treasure is always in the 9 - 9 spot of a chunk So after you locate the chunk that contains buried treasure, just find the 9 - 9 spot

Well... i play bedrock edition for 5 years and i've only encountered 6/7 bugs (and that isn't that much!) and almost no lag, soooo...

And not everybody can get Java because u need to by an expensive PC that can run the laggy thing and by the game itself ($27+) and it still has no cross play which is more important. Bedrock is on many devices so everyone can have a chance to play Minecraft and play with one another plus Bedrock runs smoother than Java.

10:52 If you are on java then there is one little trick that u can use. If you pop up the f3 menu and then look at where it says "Chunk:". After that are 3 coordinate numbers. You want your x and z to both be 9. Then you just have to dig down! As long as you are in the right chunk, you should be fine.
hey skip, in case you did not know, 1.17 added a new, (And very very more easy) way to break bedrock. And best yet, you do not have to be on the roof. Using a cauldron and 2 buckets of powdered snow, you can break it. Just place the cauldron underneath the bedrock, and click it with to buckets of powdered snow. It will be broken

Easier than any other treasure digging method (not sure if also for Bedrock): If you know which chunk the X marks, the treasure will ALWAYS be at chunk coordinate x=9 and z=9. Since you can easily check those coordinates in F3, it's just super easy and saves a lot of time.

the shield glitch (which I found accidentally without tutorials) was holding my shield cuz there was a skeleton shooting at me while I go to nether and when that piglin hit me I thought my game lag which was confusing and found out that, that was an op glitch especially when you enchant your shield with unbreaking III and mending.

Watch out, holding the sword in the offhand no longer applies the effects. However, if you keep your bow (or snowballs etc) in your offhand and your sword in the maid hand, the looting effects will apply.
with sand and gravel you can also x-ray by placing the blocks above you until you'd start suffocating and then move out of the block enough that you don't take damage but you can still see inside the block and you should be able to see through the blocks and see nearby caves, mineshafts and even treasure map chests (may not work in 1.17 haven't tried yet, I probably worded this horribly don't judge)
Skip always catches off guard with the ending. I just get so sucked in!
Maybe to get renewable sand they could have some kind of collection thing that you put in rivers to collect sand particles that get caught up in the current over time.

The slab glitch works for one reason your head registers as it’s above water/lava but half of your head is still in it so ur fov makes it look like ur exraying in water/lava (this is the best explanation I have be happy I had to look at that glitch to one:make sure it’s real second:to make this explanation) so if ur confused read this.
I really enjoy the little subscription challenges you put in the beginning of the videos. It's such a small thing, but very fun. It's not annoying or repetitive for people already subscribed, but memorable for those who aren't. I always find myself kind of excited to see what the bet will be for each video you put out. As for the video itself, it was lovely and I learned new things. I did not know about the mushrooms breaking end portals.

11:19 on java edition, go closest to the middle of the X that you can. open up your coordinates and stuff (i think its ALT F3? cant remember, maybe just F3?) and there will be a line of text with your chunk coordinates. go to 9 ~ 9 and dig down, that should be where the chest is. that’s bc 9 ~ 9 is the middle of the chunk, and across all platforms the chest only spawns in the center of the chunk. on bedrock there is a math trick to finding the middle of the chunk you’re in as well (bc you cant pull up your chunk coords on bedrock), looking it up is rlly easy and it should be one of the first results!

8:32 Chances are, that won't work in Nintendo Switch Edition of Bedrock. I can't tell you how many times I've exited the Nether and couldn't see anything except entities and NPCs. And if you break a block and it doesn't show it gone, that's temporary X-ray vision. Step into the block and you can see every block of open air in the render distance. These glitches only happen with the max settings on, though.

Yeah it works only if you put the bow in the off hand and the sword in the main hand. Not sure how everyone keeps getting this wrong. Several big KZheadrs have unintentionally spread this rumor lately, even though it was patched out of Java before the release of 1.9 (it was in the game for a few snapshots / a few weeks in 2015 and people still think it works)
I'm not sure why but it did seem to work on 1.16.5 holding a Looting sword in my off hand while hitting a zombified piglin with my Smite 5 axe. I don't think that worked in 1.12.2
11:05 once, when I was getting sand, I found buried treasure without a map.
for java players u can just hit f3 and look for ur chunk coordinate going to 9,y,9 works 100% of the time, when ur searching for treasure using treasure maps no need to farm a trident 1st :)
For #4, you can actually drop the warped fungus on a stick and it will still work for some reason
